Not much going on outside of the TT, Asplund and Skinner line. So far R2 and Bjork not seeing much action at all and Hayden might was well not bothered dressing. -

Wolanin with the turnover.....-2 for the night so far. So much for that decision to sit Butcher. -

Still waiting for a game where the team comes out hard and fast....the home stand winning streak seems like ages ago now. -

TT/Skinner/Asplund line has nearly 2x the ice time vs. any other line so far -
Agree, hoping they can both stay healthy so we can see what they can become. Casey is still the great unknown to me....hoping he can make a difference.

Chicago and Arizona?

Something is not working right in that kid's head. Early in the game tonight he showed some muscle taking out a Detroit player along the boards and neutralizing him....great play! Late in the third, he forgets one of the most basic rules of playing the man instead of the puck and BOOM, game tied. It's like watching Jekyll and Hyde.
-
I'm really wishing Buffalo exposed Bjork and kept Borgen.
-
Hard to watch. I know the players might appreciate the coaching staff being forgiving of taking risks and making mistakes, but this team is making some of the most basic and bonehead mistakes that high schoolers are taught. Maybe Donnie should think about sitting some players to make them think harder. It's nice they don't fear being punished, but they would feel a lot better if they actually win by playing simple basic hockey.
-
I think a high school defender would have handled that better than Dahlin....even pee-wees are taught to play the man, not the puck.
-
Perhaps, but I would contend that Dahlin played better his rookie season than he has the last season or two.
-
Perhaps, but isn't Dahlin supposed to be good enough to elevate the play of his linemates? Jack could make things happen all by himself without much other talent on the ice with him. Whatever happened to "shoot the puck"?!?!
-
Vinnie WTF!!! Don't just stand there and watch the other guy....take him out!
-
I'd like to see him play with a little more intensity. There are guys who have a lot less talent who seem to work harder and get the job done. He's big enough to take care of business in his end.

Brutal....the Kraken have their tentacles all over Buffalo. -
If he can bring some additional intensity, leadership and production to this team (like #17 Foligno), he may turn out to be the most important piece of this trade than Krebs (just like Foligno > Dale McCourt).

I'll take two Tuch's please!!!

Updated Sabres Prospect Pool 2021 and beyond
Carmel Corn replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
So we add Krebs to our prospect pool...is this possibly the DEEPEST our prospect pool has been in the last 10 years? I'm not saying we have any generational talent in there, but with the number of forwards (Krebs, Cozens?, Quinn, JJP, Rosen, etc.) along with defense (Power, Samuelsson, Johnson, Laaksonen, etc) and UPL, Portillo, Levi. I wonder if we've had this many prospects in quite a while. I know we always have prospects and our draft luck has not been great for a long time, but for some reason the names above give me a little more hope for the future.
