The Stanley Cup Playoffs 2023: Second Round GDT.

Horrible anthem singer in Raleigh....makes me want to strangle him while he's singing. -
My vote is no, but if Pegula is desperate to find ways to sell more tickets, then I would not be surprised that they try to get him.

It's frustrating that Johnson can't declare his intentions after all this time. Some think he will sign with a west coast team. I saw someone suggested TORONTO as another destination....which would make me dislike Toronto even more than I do today (if that's possible).

Bunting is no angel himself...I'm glad Bennett gave him the business. Guess you're rooting for Toronto? -

Well $#@%@!, Leafs off to a fast start....need Florida to wake up and make a game out of this! Of course the refs are doing their part to help Toronto. -
Rosen himself may still have a long way to go to become "strong" though?!?! I understand your point, but I think they both may need to get much stronger, wherever that can happen.

Kinda a yawner in Carolina so far....Hurricanes leading 2-0, but not a lot of chances or shots on either side....NJ only 1 SOG so far.... -

I prefer "grit" vs. sandpaper.....it's less letters and I'm lazy.

Is $6.6 realistic for Power? I'd guess he would not sign for less than $8 million for that much term....but what do I know.... -

I'd rather have Graves IMHO - better defensively than Severson. -
Actually, I'm curious if the Calgary Asst. Coaches are any good? Anybody worth considering that can be an upgrade to our existing asst. coaching staff?

Love how Gudas plays....it's pretty amazing to me how tough he plays despite only being 6 ft. 0 inches....must be pretty "thick" in his build.

IDK, I feel Toronto could have beaten Boston based on how the Bruins have been looking more vulnerable. OTH, Florida is healthier now, younger and have multiple guys who can match-up well against the Leafs. All I know is that I am now rooting hard for the Panthers! -

Years ago, I thought Craig Rivet (Instigators) stated that the Sabres already had a talented D-man in Montour, if they would only use him properly....especially on the powerplay as a quarterback. Maybe he was right?!?! -
As we have come to know all these years.....anybody who gets traded to another team (or board) suddenly becomes an all-star there and the rest of us here then wonder why they got traded in the first place...and then we become critical of our own place as to why we failed to develop them properly. OMG - how did we let ___________ get away (for peanuts or a bag of pucks?!?!)

Former Sabres Reinhart and now Taylor Hall scoring in the 3rd period....tied 3-3 now halfway thru the 3rd. -
Sure, Stillman is not a top 4 guy and never will be, but we needed a better 5/6 guy, which he clearly is vs. Clague and Bryson. Sure other (maybe better) guys were available as pending UFA's, but I didn't want GMKA to overpay for them, which he did not do for Stillman. Waiving Stillman is pretty ridiculous now, when you traded away an asset to get him and he's also under contract still. Stillman did not have the benefit of being with our team long, so I'd like to think he can improve with more time and a camp with the team. Trading for a stay-at-home LD is not necessarily the only goal....I'd say a stay at home RHD is even better. Trading Joki is not the answer either. I hate his game as a top 4 guy, but he's more tolerable as a 5/6 guy...which is where he belongs.

With respect to Miles Wood, is your point that you think this is a bad idea (or not)? Just asking for a little more perspective....so for example, would you rather have Miles Wood or Victor Olofsson on the roster?

This is where my wishful thinking comes in.....I do wish that he signs with the Sabres still. If he does not announce his intentions for a while, I do hope he participates in the next development camp. From there, I do hope he likes what he see's (including the other talent around him) and finally decides this is where he wants to be.
