Weird, Muel played the first shift of the 3rd and it lasted nearly 2 minutes. He shoved a couple TB players, but saw nothing to indicate he was hit by a TB player to cause an injury...in other words Muel initiated a couple of contacts, but nothing significant. No idea why he's hurt.

Meatballs should have called a TO and then challenge that TB goal. It was clearly icing (looking at the replay).

Sitting VO is addition by subtraction, but that doesn't do anything to help trade value unfortunately. The brass has to make a decision on what's more important, getting some W's with the most effective lineup or trying to maximize asset values. I'm tired of the latter.

He needs to get going though, along with a few others.

The question in my mind is if Granato will make ANY changes in the lineup. He'd better not mess with the Mitts line, but the Thompson and Cozens lines are both lacking intensity IMHO. I'd prefer to move Krebs up as well, but feel VO should sit and put Jost in

Levi played well enough to start Tuesday IMHO

Right now, I would not be against moving Krebs up to the first or second line though. He at least has a pulse, where many in the top 6 are too sleepy

Greenway is playing with size tonight. None of our other large forwards are showing any physical tendencies at all.

So is the effort the first 20 tonight any better than the first 20 on Thursday?!?! I say no, and that our best players are not driving the play. The Mitts line is by far the best (again) thus far.
