  1. Thanks. I'm not even sure what I'm looking at when I see that site. I need someone to break it down in paragraph format for me. I generally think of "Cap Hell" as being saddled with Dead Money?
  2. Warranted and necessary. And not enough.
  3. Has anyone posted the Orlovsky tweet/video where he picks apart Dorsey's call on that 4th down where Allen jus sort of floated the ball to no one? I can't find it at the moment, but Orlovsky just savages the Bills for anemic, unimaginative, blockheaded play calling at an absolutely crucial juncture. I mean, he doesn't just rip them -- he explains in some detail why it was such a brutal play call.
  4. Did he answer for that? Or was it just some mush mouthed BS about "just tryin' to be aggressive there and win the game ..."
  5. Is there an overview of the team's salary cap situation(s) somewhere? I'm not going to dig into it myself. But if memory serves, there's no moving on from Diggs or Miller for a while - at least through next season (2024-2025).
  6. This is true. These are end times for his regime. Please, Terry, we beg you: Give another regime a shot to build around Allen. Ben Johnson is a fashionable name at the moment. Why not? (This would also require the hiring of a new GM, I presume.)
  7. Lindy didn't want to give up "flesh eating bacteria" as an injury to target?
  8. This is starting to sound like a dreaded sports hernia that they are trying to manage non-surgically but won't be right until he has surgery.
  9. I won't get on board with the Texans surpassing the Bills just yet, but, man, does it ever SUCK to have another apparently excellent QB in the AFC. Enough already! Guys like Justin Fields and Bryce Young went to the NFC, naturally.
  10. I respect commitment to a bit.
  11. Imo, Peterka is built for playoff hockey. His goal last night was scored in the dirtiest of spots.
  12. Good post. I think the consideration mentioned above is spot on. And possibly both. I mean - if I am the EDM GM, then that's what I'm demanding. Also, NFW Hockey Jesus would agree to go to Buffalo.
  13. Man, that is just it, innit? Consistency is such a dull and uninteresting thing in a lot of ways. And it's so difficult to attain and maintain. It arises from a hundred little reasons, none of which are glamorous or particularly rewarding in their own right. I watch Boston from afar, and I'm just like Damn. Lose a likely HOF'er and a perennial glue guy, both at centre, but keep on truckin'. How are they doing it? My 30,000 foot theory: Consistency in every good thing they do. If this Sabres team can consistently play at a level that's close to where they should be, as individuals and as a team? They'll be a 100+ point team. It's elusive as hell, though. Consistency.
  14. Dude's been nursing something since the preseason.
  15. da fuq is going on with Tuch, man.
  16. As much as I hate to say it, I feel like the acquisition of Douglas spells the end for Tre as a Bill. Unless, of course, he agrees to some sort of team-friendly extension. They should. But they won't. I don't tune into WGR, don't visit The Stadium Wall, so I'm not sure how much Josh's role in this is being discussed. I think his play, his decision making is/are the biggest reason that the offence is struggling. But I also think that his problems are a byproduct of not being put in the best position for him to succeed -- call it a loss of confidence. And that comes back to coaching. Those signs were spotted everywhere at the Tampa game: LET JOSH BE JOSH. Did someone here say that there's some Ralph Krueger vibes to how 17 is being mishandled this season? Or was that out on the Twitter?
  17. Also, bro. Normalize hetero dudes being able to freely identify other good looking dudes.
  18. Only one of them has repeatedly invited speculation that they're gay. But seriously - what was the Tay Tay's beard take that I had? Thanks for this. Every time I noticed him last night, I found myself thinking "nice play" or some such. Never leave us, Doc. Also, his nickname is Doc? I beg you to make this its own thread. And I appreciate your personal top-10.
  19. Also, there is no debating that Krebs is objectively dreamy looking - in a hockey way (got an f'd up nose).
  20. This is a good take. You never @ me, bro. I almost missed this. I draw a blank on Tay Tay's beard. Are you referring to Travis Kelce?
  21. Yep. Krebs is a curious case. The team's business side adores him - for obvious reasons, he's got Hockey Hollywood good looks and a nice vibe. But he just isn't bringing anything to the table. I also prefer Jost in that role. As for the idea of replacing Okposo, Krebs, at most, might replace Okposo's current level of play, but that is an area where the team needs to improve.
  22. Good perspective. They've definitely been coming on of late. And, of course, the GA has also swelled (or I presume it has anyway).
