Man. If Housley can get good production out of Bogosian, and the guy can stay healthy ... that would move the needle a bit (more). -
In a heartbeat. And I would not need any reasons other than football ones. OTOH, man's been out the game a long time.
-
the panel was discussing that he is reportedly playing at about 165# right now. i mean - just look at him. he's quite slight.
-
Unmitigated idiocy. Lunacy, even. Also, a big shoutout to the dim-witted ... process that somehow led to them determining that, yep, young Nathan is pretty darn good.
-
It was a dirty finish, as Kypreos noted. But I very much think that any player with a legitimate NHL physique (and, hey, they come in various shapes and sizes) is *not* getting tossed around like that.

I'm pretty sure they were top 10 in both basic Corsi and PDO last season -- so, some of both. -
What in what? I guess I meant it when I said that I had no idea what certain people were talking about anymore. To whom is this even directed? Excellent effing question. Right. Beane and McDermott had a terrible plan and/or did a horrendous job of executing whatever plan they had when it came to QB play in 2018. Ummm. Oh, heavens -- L to the O to the L. Come. ON. "Field reporters." Setting aside that I can't recall a single ringing endorsement from a reporter: What bearing would their thoughts have on the matter? The chatter I heard and read from other FO's was that the Bills were being laughed at for rolling Peterman out there. As for the balance: I believe they planned on starting McCarron. Apparently, they found that to be a Grade A eff up. And I also believe Peterman was their Plan B. Goodness knows how history has adjudged that decision. So, yes -- "their actions" have shown them to be complete and utter morons when it comes to the QB position and developing their 7th overall pick at the position. I trust there's no disagreement on those points?
-
It is wholly logical and eminently justified to criticize them for having a terrible plan and/or executing whatever plan they had in terrible fashion relative to Josh Allen playing this season. Uh oh -- he went with the all caps. There appear to be a half dozen people on this thread saying similar things to you on this subject. As usual, that alone is indicative of ... something.
-
A huge cauldron of stoopid. What are we even talking about anymore? Bungled. Botched. Butchered. Bumbled.
-
-
The more I think about it, the more I can't believe Beane and McDermott will survive the QB debacle of 2018-2019.
-
Which would be absolute sh1t-ass planning. Even Allen's most fervent supporters in the punditry were unanimous in the opinion that he needed a year to learn the pro game.
-
Yep. I'm not sure which scenario is worse, actually. I.e., "we never, ever intended this kid to play - he clearly needed a year to watch and learn" -- and yet here we are. Or, "we sorta didn't want him to play because we knew he needed the time, but we were okay with him 'winning the job' too, whether in camp or once the season began."
-
It is the epitome of a terrible plan to have, on the one hand, no intention of playing Allen this season, and, on the other hand, intentionally place your team in a position where it is guaranteed that you will have to play Allen this season.
-
That plan failed because it was doomed to fail. Beane and McDermott made some horrendous miscalculations.
