I mean Lyon isn't horrible, he likely play 40 or so games here unless we think he can play more which think asking a lot. Like anything contract and terms matter, if he's signed for 3-4 seasons in the $4-$6 million range I'm okay with it. Anything longer or higher than our management is even dumber than we think.

At this point I would take anyone of the following for Byram: 1. Quinton Byfield 2. Dawson Mercer 3. Dmitri Voronkov 4. Jordan Kyrou 5. Jason Robertson Yet knowing Kevyn Adams none of them are coming here.

That's just it we are weak at Center that's why would need to shift Tage there. As to me the only top 2C on the roster is Norris but until he shows he can stay healthy he's my 2C. I mean am okay with Kulich at 1C but need to move Benson down for that to happen IMO. Yet some here feel that Benson is going to become a point producer this season.

Columbus doesn't seem to have much that to want. I mean I'd love Kirill Marchenko but he'd have to play LW here or move Tage back to C but Columbus couldn't be that dumb? Jet Greaves save percentage been good as a backup but he still hasn't played 30 NHL games to date.

Thus far I say we're worse yet we still have free agency and possible trades so I'm still hoping we do more obviously. If we can add Kyrou or Robertson and a goalie to split time with UPL it be a good not great off-season.

Demko is maddingly inconsistent, the only way I get him is if somehow also get EP40 to be out 1C.

I'm hoping we sign Dan Vladar in free agency on a three year deal for between $4 million - $5 million to be a split starter with UPL until Levi's ready.
