  1. Ideally yes. Instead I think/want to draft Perreault.
  2. But the Coyotes just drafted....😉
  3. Agreed I hate the tradition of thanking the home city etc. It just a waste of time.
  4. Damn 26 years? Feels like yesterday they entered the league.
  5. Nothing like starting a draft and the booing of Bettman.
  6. That's my point. I have no issues #13 moved for a proven Dman. I like VO but would package him for a bonafide starting goalie that could start 50 games for us next year as we develop Levi. To me Savoie untouchable. They might take Pesce and then move him in a separate move.
  7. Play as best as you can in hopes to be traded to another team or leave via UFA like Ullmark did. I like UPL yet he's inconsistent to say the least. I'd definitely look for a better option in UFA.
  8. If we do ship out VO then I'd think Peterka or Quinn could find more PP time. I think Peterka's a more complete player so voted for him yet Quinn definitively has the offensive upside too.
  9. Housley was one of best offensive defenseman ever and played earlier than Mogilny so disagree on that one.
  10. I'm 46, so yes I saw Mogilny at his best. I still remember the 76 goal season and how excited it was getting his autograph that same year.
  11. Probably because Fedorov and Bure were better. I personally think Mogilny should be in because he opened things up for others to leave Russia, was above average etc. but who knows maybe some in the committee have ill feelings towards him *shrugs*
  12. The selection announcement will be made live on Wednesday, June 21. on TSN4, TSN.ca and the TSN App as well as NHL Network at 3:00pm ET.
  13. I hated way Peca left too but as I see it today these guys deserve money with the possibility of no career after hockey.
  14. First they take Drury, now Peca? Two of my favorite Sabres of all time.
  15. If Gibson lands in Pittsburgh than Tristan Jarry be available. He's been good not great for the Penguins but last year he might have been beset by an injury he acquired in the Winter Classic according to https://www.pensburgh.com/2023/6/13/23758348/2022-23-season-in-review-tristan-jarry The same article reports he might be looking for a 5-6 year deal which might be difficult if he going to just be a spot starter while Levi develops unless the Sabres can find a fair contract for him as a part time starter he could be on a short list of options.
