Norris is the only pure top 2 Center we have on the roster, not sure it's wise to move him unless get a proven top 4 dman back and a B level prospect or more back.

I'd love to get #4, Michael Kesselring and prospect Vadim Moroz for JJP and #9 but that be asking for too much. Then ship Byram or Power and #4 for EP40.

Bear fits a need and if the draft was today he'd be top of my realistic Sabres board but he likely won't be here for 2 seasons for that reason I package #9 for a proven NHLer.

All we can hope is that Jarmo Kekalainen has some form of influence on Adams. I realize he serves under Adams but it doesn't mean the GM can't learn something from him.

The only way I move UPL is if we acquire a legitimate #1 G, I know some have suggested Oettinger which is nice except he under contract til 2033. That's a super commitment and I am not comfortable with it as this team, I don't know if system/players or combo of both but worry he won't live up to that contract here.

If he play here I'd be all for it but to me feels like he wouldn't want to be here.

Then instead of trading Byram you trade Power and get Byram on a bridge deal.

I can't see getting 2025 #2 OA for Byram, would they give 2025 #30 OA We then could move 2025 #9 OA for Robertson? It likely take more such as JJP and/or Poltapov which leaves us a hole and ideally we need a #2 winger not a #1 so think trying to going after Robertson to me more foolish than smart.

I'm just saying committing to a goalie long term when have your next 1 in the system is questionable use of cap space. Ago would never come here as he calling on for more talent for the Canes. The talent here a lot less imo.

If it looks like we're going to have another bottom 10 season next season my guess is as early as next March unless we sacrifice Adams and make Kek our new GM.

I like this plan and think a guy like Dan Vladar could fit this part. You might have to throw him starting money (am thinking 4-5 million for three years?) He's still younger at 28 next season and at very least could start 30-40 games until Levi ready to make the jump. His contract though. I mean you're committing to him long term or going to have buy him out which hurts if want to extend Tuch, JJP etc.
