Absolutely. It's Hecht's turn to play the hero in the gripping drive for 9th. -
The beauty of modern technology, hiding the porn is only a mouse click or two away. But back in my day...

This thread reminded me of the name that former sabre thread we had going a few years ago, where we would post a present day picture of a former Sabre and try to guess his identity. I searched for the thread but couldn't find it, so...... -
He'd probably get comments too. I wore a Sabres jacket to a friggin Disney on Ice show at PNC and got more than one comment about it from the ushers working that night.
-
What they said. The one thing PNC has going for it is that it's very tailgate friendly for a hockey / concert arena. A word on warning about the Backyard Bistro, since it's one of the only bar restaurants within walking distance of PNC it can get overwhelmed before an event. I've had horrendous wait times there before. Buffalo Bothers on Lake Boone Trail isn't walking distance, but a short car ride from the arena. Enjoy the show, my brother just went to see Seger last night in Buffalo, and he'll be coming to Raleigh to see Rush at PNC with me on 5/3.

Today is the day. Rush to be inducted in the RnR HOF. Awesome. http://us.cnn.com/20...cnn-disqus-area To celebrate I'll post one of my favorite Rush deep cuts "Peaceable Kingdom". Fitting once again unfortunately, given the events this week in Boston. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edMiJF-IMEU

i'm with d4rk, they might as well make it and take their beating at this point, as their shot at the truly elite talent is gone. -

I don't deny that there may be something to that in terms of developing your young guys. However, IMO the likely prospect of getting a true difference maker at the top of the draft would heavily outweigh any mental toughness gained by your supporting cast in a playoff shellacking. The rebuild is accelerated dramatically with an elite guy that has a high probability to produce like some of the other elite guys in this league do. The Sabres don't have any difference makers, and haven't for quite some time. -

I thought I heard Emrick say that Kaleta got injured on the play while preventing the icing. -

I guess, if squeaking into the playoffs with a severely flawed team only to quickly get your ass handed to you counts as a W. I more meant we know hows this ends in terms of what the Sabres do best, and it's the same whether they just squeak in or just miss out, by keeping this franchise permanently cemented to the treadmill of suckitude. -

What's going on now was as predictable as the sun rising in the east. We all know how this ends. -

Might as well go with good ole Claude himself, lest anyone think that I believe Roby was a disappointing Sabre. -

I think it's JLGP too, but possibly Val James? -
And keep the canes out of the bottom 3. I don't want them getting any of the big 3, but I actually think it will be good for them to stay below us as they will likely go D and leave another top offensive prospect for us.

A great beer, inspired by an equally great band and album (supposedly) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaWhg5YGGSs

Is the Victory really a good session beer? Most saisons I've had are in the 6-7% abv range edit: Actually it appears that it is Victory Swing Session Saison comes in at 4.5%, so it looks like they dialed it down a bit from a saison brewed to style. I'm going to look for this one.
