I've seen that happen a lot and generally there is a whistle to stop play once the refs lose sight of the puck. My point being I wouldn't fault the other 2 goalies for that happening.

I disagree. That first goal wouldn't have been impossible for any goalie to stop. The second one was him losing it under his pads and having no idea where it went.
