I think 2/3 Center is more the Must. We have Savoie, Rosen, Kulich, Rousek and even Benson who can play on 1st and second line I would leave Top line last year as Tuch Tage Peterka. I was thinking Peterka can go to 2nd line again but say No now. Top line must come out Firing!!!!! Has to set the pace and Peterka is a Sure thing for 30 is he stays there and Healthy. That line was good 2nd half of Season. I like a trade for guy like Scott Laughton for 3rd line Center Even OK with a trade with Cozens swap Centers, add a Prospect to entice or a Top 2nd line Center and move Cozens to Wing. Tuch Tage Peterka Quinn Kulich C Cozens, they can swap at times Cozens and Kulich at Center if stalling Malenstyn Benson C Zucker Benson Centered for Savoie, can see Savoie here next year! Greenway Lafferty C Rousek (Savoie?) Backups: Aube-Kubel and Krebs If we make a trade for 2/3rd line Center GREAT Rousek bumps to backup and Krebs is Gone! If Quinn stalls you can bring up Savoie at some point. Quinn is 100% Healthy he goes nowhere. Also Savoie may beat out Rousek on third line.

Yes and I am Optimistic 2-3 Winger/C Amerks are Ready to come up. Almost sure Johnson comes up and Levi definitely is. Not talking about them.

And yet even Last year we Crushed many Top Teams in games. Even beat the Kraken. Goaltending and Not Replacing Quinn and Samuelsson killed us, that is Adams Fault. Eric Johnson was a Mess but I understand the pickup. This D is NOT soft. It is Dangerous with good scoring Forwards. Last year wasn't a Waste. We learned to play D and got Great Goaltending in the Second half. Lindy Ruff is someone I have watched since late 70's as a Player, then HC! The guy knows what he is doing and can toughen up some of the players. He also has been gone 10 years and learned a few new tricks. I could go back and look but I am sure your one of the People claiming Krebs was great and we needed Okposo and Girgenson back. Losing Oloffson alone betters this Team Levi is Ready just in case

And UPL/Levi leading the way Power, Dahlin, Byram, Samuelson healthy and together for the First time Like to trade Joki for a Top 4 Defensive D man on the right side for Byram. I like Dahlin and Powers together, Pair you can put on anyone! Samuelson and Ryan Johnson would be a good 3rd pairing Clifton 7th D, you can move Power to Left if someone gets injured

One, We are not near Camp yet. Still things like Trades to play out Someone like Greenway may go, Krebs. Still could use another Veteran 20 goal scoring Center. I don't see a need for a Extreme get a Top 6 Forward till we see what Camp looks like. I will bet a Team will Call us with a Trade. Some Teams out there that need to get Younger and the Sabres have more Prospects then anyone!!!

I understand last years Frustration, we did not get better. Half the people whining were the ones who wants Krebs, Okposo and Girg, Jost. Lindy Ruff is the Fix for Last years Regression under Granto. Why they stopped their wide open game 1 point from playoffs is beyond me. We are Loaded in Rochester yet we kept playing Jost, Krebs, Girgs and Okposo while losing. 2nd half of the Season we should have had Amerks up yet we acted like we were in a Playoff Race. We never where. When Quinn went down, we were in trouble. When Tuch and Tage got injured, derailed the Season. I like the Players added. Fill the Roster with potential 2-3 Amerks up to swap in with different teams played. I don't see a need for Top 6 guy unless a Player that really wants to be here pops out like Iafallo or Foligno. 3rd Line Center is a Must for 1 year. Over pay if you have to. Go get a guy like Scott Laughton. Between him and Lafferty you might have good 3/4th Centers. Bring up from Rochester a Center and a Winger to learn behind these guys. Move Krebs, he is not versatile!!

Why do you feel Savoie, Kulich, Benson, Östlund, Walberg might not be able to do that? These are very Talented people with a good HC and a AHC that knows them well. If a Great 3C pops up awesome, hopefully Krebs is in Package. I do NOT doubt Amerks will reap Sabres rewards, Made the Playoffs past two seasons. The Bottom Two Lines Will be very Physical and have some good checking in place.

You Realize it is only July 2nd. Season doesn't start till October

We spend 13 years in HELL and last 3-4 really building Rochester to keep us Supplied. Sabres raided Rochester 2 years ago and we are reaping rewards 3 years later where We have 5 of our Top 6 players. Also have Benson 1 year of Experience. Rochester is Loaded with 5-8 players 1 year away and maybe a Draft this year that could bring us a True Center and RW Defensive man. We are getting Levi, probably Ryan Johnson this year. Top 6 might get Savoie (minors), maybe one of Rousek, Rosen or Kulich for Bottom 6. Amerks have 3-4 guys 1 year away both on Offense and Defense. I would say this is GREAT returns Be great to add Top Winger Vet that produces every year. We have Prospects to give too. My Favorite will be Sam Bennett to spread FEAR in our opponents, next Nick Foligno, then Alex Iafallo or Kyle Conner from Jets We have Prospects to get this done if that is what Teams want. Also have all of next years picks we don't need.

More than half the people on here wanted Okposo and Girg back last year. Many of us told you they needed a Trade for Top 4 Defense and a Winger, maybe even a Goalie. We were Right the Bottom 6 was not correct. Goaltending shook itself out and we got Bo Byram later. We lost Quinn to which worsened what happen last year So Adams went out this year and took care of Bottom 6 quickly, looks good on Paper Only thing we need no is Skinner replacement. This doesn't have to happen quickly. Could be before Camp, could be during Camp. Maybe a Prospect like Savoie, Benson, Rosen steps up for the Spot. Good Trade is better than a Fast one for your Fantasy League or Psyche. That said, I would like Sam Bennett, Iaefello or Nick Foligno

Some people will come here, maybe not what we wanted. We have 20+ Prospects ready for a shot with Talent that can with NO PROBLEM Rest of the League can go THUMP themselves!!!! Sabres should have been in Playoffs last two years, Adams didn't toughen the Roster enough and Granto changed his Philosophy heading in the right direction two years ago! I believe Ruff can take this Team, as is, to Playoffs now. Got D and we have Goaltending. We also know this Top 5 can score enough. Rochester has been going to the Playoffs for at least two years, Players we can use there. Malenstyn is a very good pickup, Gives us two BIG forwards with Greenway. Also think Rousek will come up as a Good two way forward on 4th line. Krebs is still Good 4th line Center.

Beck Malenstyn will do more for Sabres than Skinner at this point on 3rd Line. Also now have Greenway for 3rd or 4th line and Rousek as possible 4th line Center. Krebs is Done I think 3rd Line Malenstyn Laughton C Benson 4th Line Greenway Rousek C Savoie
