Amazing that the Sabres have scored 15 goals in 2 games against the Leafs this season. Where did that come from ? People throwing pucks from the stands ?

I thought Cozens might be the one traded. Got his $.. but started to remind me of Stafford years back. Scores a lot in 3-4 games, then vanishes for weeks. Thought they might deal him and give Mitts a good deal with the savings. I don't hate Cozens and see his solid hits every once in a while. But he is horribly streaky and that hurts during bad stretches. Must improve. Mitts can't score like Cozens but seems vastly improved at hitting scorers with great passes. Still, the listed next contract numbers seemed high.

Team has already seen several "revert back" after getting paid recently. Not Mitts fault but can't keep overpaying.

Left handed shot. 3.8 Mil next year. Lots of concussions. Risky. I'll give it a chance with Power and Samuelsson struggling too often. Weren't going to give him the contract he wanted, since they rushed to overpay several others. Welcome. Make some more trades for forwards who aren't soft.

If we had a GM who actually wanted to make significant trades, it's more likely to happen during the summer/off-season. KO, Girgs and other minor sunset moves more likely to be made now. Never say never but I don't view KA/DG wanting to change anything. Too in love with their guys. Detached from reality and playoff hockey.

I'm hoping good luck is being wished to far more supposed talent than KO. This team needs multiple major changes.

I watched the gym short olympics (Combine) last week. WR is crazy deep. Also need DL and Secondary. Lots of depth. Deep draft. All have highlight film on Youtube . It's crazy how fast and athletic these guys are compared to players 20-30 years ago. Cyborgs.
