  1. I would guess that Jason Botterill would be high on their list. His draft picks and trades were actually pretty solid. His choice of a coach was his downfall. He has done well in Seattle.
  2. I have a 36 inch waist. A 38 feels so good that I wear a 40.😄
  3. I’m glad Jesperi Kotkaniemi isn’t in the game. I think Rasmussen is still stinging from that punch.
  4. Seems like I remember him cross checking Dahlin and Cozens returned the favor with a nice check that sent him flying.
  5. You are probably right. Maybe he will want to play in Toronto at some point. Like Eichel in Boston down the road.
  6. Maybe in a couple years we will be looking to give up a pick for someone to take on Skinner's contract.🙂
  7. Portillo is biding his time until he is an UFA. I doubt he moves on from Michigan and I doubt he ever signs with the Sabres.
  8. Kasper is the prospect I would love at #9 but I would bet $100 that Detroit takes him at #8. Yzerman has excellent scouts in the Swedish league, probably the same guy that found Seider, as he played for the same team as Kasper. Kasper and Seider have a lot in common. Kasper is mature, smart (fluent in 3 languages) good size, good skater and I think he has a lot of offensive upside. I think he would be an instant top player for Rochester and would be a Sabre after 1 year. His background would be a great fit with JJP.
  9. Lambert worries me too high in the draft. He hasn’t progressed very much. Has great skating skills but I’m not convinced he has the hockey IQ to go with it. If he’s there at 28 I’d consider taking a shot. I think Kasper would be a good fit. Could plug him into the Rochester lineup right away and I bet he would be ready for the Sabres next year. I think Detroit is all over him at #8. Played on the same SHL team as Seider and they come from the same region (Germany/Austria). I think he would be good for JJ Peterka.
  10. Boy that would be great. I’m afraid that neither Gauthier or Kasper make it to 9. Several teams are looking for the bigger fast skating forwards like Ottawa and Detroit. If the Sabres want one of them, they may have to trade up. Philly has no 2nd rounder so maybe they would be willing to trade down. Not sure what it would cost.
  11. Agree. I could see Kasper and JJP being good friends. Detroit seems like a good fit with the SHL connection to some of their other top prospects. Gauthier would also be a good fit but probably doesn’t make it to #9.
  12. You are correct. I should have said no healthcare worker or anyone affiliated with the hospital is going to provide information. Someone from the family could divulge the information if they are not a covered entity.
  13. HIPAA. Your health information is private unless you so choose to make it public. Anyone divulging private information can get in trouble. No reporter is going to give out information and risk losing his job and more.
  14. Good point. They will have quite a few ELCs on the books when Peterka and Quinn are almost certainly on the big squad. I think the team will try hard to make the playoffs. Hopefully this will be the last year they have a top 10 draft pick for many years to come.
