To everybody saying we have too many forwards in the pipeline, prospects are the best currency on the trade market. You want veteran talent to supplement what we already have, that's how you get it.

It's hard to believe he is a former Hart Trophy winner. I watched him for years in Edmonton, and though he'd show occasional flashes of brilliance, he was maddeningly inconsistent and dreadful defensively. He put together one magical season, but outside of that he's been a decent to mediocre middle-6 winger his whole career. His time in Buffalo was a disgrace. Yes, that team was brutal, but Hall couldn't have possibly appeared to give less of a *****.

I would've agreed with you before he had a terrific last couple of months. Time will tell if that was things finally clicking for Casey or an aberration, but if he keeps playing like that, he's a key piece.

Meier is a solid player, but that contract is bonkers. I'd take either of TNT or Cozens over him every day of the week.

Ideally - add a solid, veteran top-4 defenseman and a solid 2-way top-6 forward. For a grand slam, add a good vet goalie, though I recognize there is limited supply and many suitors for the same. I'm fine with not overpaying as I think bolstering the defense in front of the net will help out whomever is in net significantly. But, if they can't land the bodies in front of the net, a good goalie to help Levi settle in is imperative. In house - get Rasmus and Owen extended.

Best playoff in sports. I have no problem watching regardless of if we missed by 1 game or 30. Watching Marchand and Gudas go at each other is fun. I know he's a prick, but I'd love to have Gudas here as a 3rd pairing guy.
