I'm looking at tonight's lines and 3 maybe 4 of the top 6 are 3rd liners on a good team. The whole problem is Adams dumped everything into Cozens, Quinn, and Peterka becoming top-6 guys and it went bust. Cozens was traded for a guy with top-6 talent but is rarely available; Peterka became one but then wanted out; Quinn will show flashes from time-to-time, but he's not there and it doesn't look promising. Another Adams failure.

Well, if we've learned anything over the past couple of years, anytime this outfit shows a sign of life, it's inevitably followed by a losing streak. I'll be watching, but I'm not optimistic... especially with UPL in net.

Why not? I can save ya a bunch of reading, the simple answer is this is not a serious hockey organization.

Just a reminder, friends - Calgary is the worst offensive team in the league...though maybe not anymore after tonight thanks to the lowly Sabres. This game highlights everything wrong with the Sabres summed up in one word: culture. That was a lousy effort against a tired, lousy team and they embarrassed themselves - the second such effort in as many weeks. The entire organization needs an enema, from the top down. Until sweeping, wholesale changes are made, nothing is changing.

Same old Sabres. This is why you can't let a couple of wins suck you in. A loser culture has been festering for years and years and it ain't changing until there's a total house cleaning.
