Wow, how rude. I'm born on the prairies where hockey players come from, grew up in a small town rink, played my first tournament at age 4, and know at least as much about hockey as you Mr. Classy.

I know plenty about goalies, what a strange thing to say. Yes, that's an ideal situation, but at times a teams goaltending situation is in a temporary state of flux. You don't get optimal situations all the time. You work through it. Your goaltenders are professional athletes. You see what you have, then you make decisions.

I think you're overstating how "hard" it is on them. They're pro athletes, they'll be fine. If you don't know what you have with your goaltending, the way to find out is playing them, simple as that. Otherwise you could make a terrible mistake, such as trading UPL.

I just disagree with that. They needed to determine what they had with their three goalies and the only way to do it was play them for a short period of time. I'm perfectly fine with that. And many here would have traded UPL early in the season, and then where would we be?

Last night was essentially a playoff game, so the pressure is on. Having said that, with a couple years experience for our core, we're starting to handle pressure situations well imo.

I'm purely speculating, but if he's close in the last two weeks or so and we're only a couple of points out he comes back. If we're out of it, maybe it's next year, although they did say he would be back in all likelihood this season.
