It was done over a Zoom Meeting earlier that morning and of course the higher ups still had not shared the list of who was being cut with him( He is a very good friend of mine we have known each other since college so I know he wasn’t BSing me) I checked my work email and unfortunately I got an invite to the meeting and My Severance Package was emailed to me this morning.
Gotta love the practice of maximizing profits for shareholders over patient care, but that’s healthcare now a days
Hearing this when it’s very difficult to find a primary care physician accepting new patients is even more maddening.
I hope this opens new doors and it could be considered a good thing in the long run.

I would like to call out @PerreaultForever who routinely touted the Yser-plan as a model rebuild. Oops. Stevie Y has had five years and the Wings are no further along than Buffalo.
Buffalo is a mess and needs a new coach.
Ottawa is a mess and needs a new coach. That seems…familiar.

The only way Brind’amour is available to Buffalo is if the Canes don’t want him back. And unless the Canes get swept out of the first round, Carolina will want him back. And maybe not even then.

One note—Sunday’s game is in Utica (if anyone was thinking of taking the drive).
Also of note for all, the 4 & 5 seeds must play in a best-of-three series play-in round. ROC sure could use a weekend off to get healthy. Beating Toronto on Friday will take care of it.

I did and I learned that there are loud rumors of the sale/relocation of the Rochester Knighthawks. I don’t expect there to be any pity about it on a Buffalo message board, but it sucks for us in ROC…even if support for the Hawks has dwindled.
I did some searching around and there’s a lot of smoke on this. -

I’m glad Adams unloaded him. He might block Levi otherwise, and Tokarski is a great guy.
Cooley’s Amerks GAA was 3.77 and save percentage was .891. He stunk.
For comparison, Levi is 2.42 and .929.
