In the arena, the feeling I have is that Levi is unbeatable tonight. I think the Crunch are second guessing shooting opportunities.

Yea Levi was exceptional that period.
The play where Levi dropped his stick was because the shot hit his knob that hard. Very lucky there.

The irony is a well sought after potential hire once said Everything the Pegulas touch turns to ***** and the entire NHL knows it.
With Arizona out, he has to rank 32nd out of the NHL owners in terms of who is most desirable to work for.
Luckily, Lindy is comfortable with coming back
The search for Granato’s Replacement did start a few weeks before he was fired. I do believe Adams wanted to or at least thought about replacing him in season
Do you think his reputation is turning around a little bit? He stuck with Granato to the tune of the seventh most tenured coach in the NHL. The GM is going into year five. The arena upgrade process is starting. It appears his meddling has reduced (family situation contributed). He’s handing out long term contracts. He’s only firing COO’s because they cannot keep it in their pants. Player facilities seem to be industry standard or better.
While it isn’t a given that they’ll be a cap team this year…if they are, what are the complaints at this point?

Six series currently sit at 3-1. Someone asked me which team has the best chance to come back…the answer is probably none. But if I had to pick one, I guess Tampa?
What would you say?

Watched the game with all my Leafs buddies tonight..OH BOY
6 straight playoff losses at home. 8 years in the playoffs with this group, one series win.
Leafs have to be blown up. Dubas is a complete fraud. The worst constructed team I have seen. All the money dumped into high end forwards with no D or goalie focus. Treleving has a giant mess to clean up.
I would imagine both Shanahan and Keefe get canned. The media and fans are out for blood here.
Came here to say what you’re saying.
BRENDAN SHANAHAN-

Will be in Section 222
With the Lightning winning yesterday, that helps keep the call ups on the Tampa roster and not the Cuse roster for another day. It’ll be very important to hold serve on home ice today.

A tip of the hat to techno group Utah Saints. It has a nice ring to it.

Wad a great game. Got to meet the #1 star Isak Rosen after the game. A really nice kid who loves to come out and mingle with fans after the games. I have a pic, but I'll have to shrink it before this crappy site will let me add it, lol.
Assuming you’re using your phone on sabrespace, here’s how you can “shrink” the size so it will upload.
For an iPhone, the options button is bottom left. Then just change the size to be under 500k for upload.- 2

I don’t have any opinion on him as a prospect, but found it interesting that Miro Satan’s kid is draft eligible this year.
The Sabres have brought back Lindy and the Goat Heads. Now bring back Satan.

The Sabres just hired a head coach who is fifth all time in NHL wins. I don’t care that he also worked here eleven years ago. This is a veteran hire that fans have been craving.

I’m open minded here. The assistant hires will be vitally important.
Accountability was never a problem with Ruff. He will make sure this team doesn’t peel off of a hit and his practices will be hard.
He has pushed offense with his teams. He gets to finish what he started with this team so long ago in the “No Goal” finals.

An awesome success story from a seventh round pick to 182 NHL points. Change can be good.

You for got that PSE has also opted out of the operating contract for BCA as of April 30, 2025.. as announced on March 28, 2024. 🙂
Regarding this decision, here is what I think Pegula is thinking: you can’t make money running an antiquated, million-year-old arena so here’s the keys to everything but the locker rooms.
The problem here is that Terry’s profit & loss in ROC is immaterial to his seven billion dollar balance sheet. That is why it is so saddening to the local community. He’s basically like, “yea the Amerks/Hawks/Blue Cross Arena is less than 1% of my annual revenues and the P&L statement doesn’t make money so peace out.”
Kim was the force of, “Rochester is important because it is my home town.”
Terry has moved on from that and it sucks for us in ROC. He was the angel investor and it is no more. -

That was the difference. ENG by CLE. 3-1. #2 it is.
I like the minimal travel and home ice advantage against Syracuse in round one

I’ll summarize: If Cleveland wins in regulation, they win the division. If ROC & CLE get two points the same way (OT loss or SO loss), Cleveland wins the division.
If Cleveland does not win and Rochester wins, the Amerks win the division.
Two points today earned by ROC guarantee home ice in round one, even if they don’t win the division. But here’s every possible scenario.

I keep getting interrupted as I try to listen. I’ve heard bits and pieces of it out of order.
Spotify (even with ads) helps a ton. I’m a Spotify premium subscriber, but it should work for all. Also, eff the Leafs.

Just as long as Rochester doesn’t have to play Syracuse in the first round. They’re the toughest competition.
Honestly, so long as they have home ice advantage in round one, they should be fine. Syracuse is good, but Tampa cannot dump prospects given Tampa is alive. Levi is the wildcard and I’ll take my chances.

4-1 Utica, 6 min to go. ROC is still alive to win the division.

This is one of the greatest goaltending performances I’ve ever seen. The quality of saves Levi has had to make all night are just mind blowing. Levi up to 56 saves.
ROC has to find a way to reward the beast.
