According to Rob Del Muro, a producer for News 12 who was in attendance, Snow wouldn’t fully commit to retaining the 2014 pick but it seemed like it was a very likely scenario.

Button expects the Islanders to have a representative in one of the five chairs at the 2015 draft lottery. He opines that the Isles shouldn't let a bad trade turn into one that is catastrophic by giving the Sabres an extra shot at McDavid and Eichel.
