  1. Mr. Regier, paging Mr. Regier @CraigCustance Doug Wilson sounds poised to take advantage of tight trade market: "If you're decisive in your decisions you can get full value." Retweeted by Scott Cullen
  2. Thanks for the insight.
  3. http://www.tampabay.com/sports/hockey/lightning/boucher-wrong-one-to-blame-for-lightning-woes/2111003 "First things first. Who will be the new coach?" "Well, the popular name out there is Lindy Ruff, recently fired by the Sabres after 15 seasons in Buffalo. You could do worse, although I'm not as high on Ruff as some. He made the playoffs about half the time in Buffalo and had so-so success in the playoffs, but never won a Stanley Cup. He would, however, have immediate credibility in the locker room, particularly among the veterans."
  4. @DarrenDreger Bruins have not been told they are out on Morrow and have trade offer on table.
  5. From Kris Baker on SabresProspects.com: Joel Armia scored twice Saturday, including the game winning goal, as Assat downed KalPa 5-2 to take a commanding 3-0 lead in their SM-Liiga quarterfinal series. Armia struck off a one-timer while on a 5x3 advantage to give Assat the 3-1 lead. Assat goes for the first round sweep Monday in Kuopio.
  6. @DarrenDreger Waivers: ANA placed R.Dvorak on Waivers. S.Bickel cleared Waivers.
  7. Great Recap, Thanks for posting.
  8. I voted for tank. I think that's in the best interest for the long term. Getting in and getting bounced in the first round would be the same old mediocrity. Simply not acceptable and would represent the same tired ground hog day movie we've seen far too often. Either way, I'll be watching.
  9. Agreed. IMO it's most definitely HDTV
  10. Not sure if he's in the lineup tonight, but the Canadiens were awarded Jeff Halpern on a waiver claim from the NYR.
  11. Adam Proteau of The Hockey News says Mandatory visors long overdue: http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/50758-Mandatory-visors-long-overdue.html
  12. Hope you didn't wear that jersey with a pair of zubaz..
  13. Those were almost as nice as the Canucks Red, Black, and Yellow monstrosities
  14. IIRC, He just signed a multi-year extension with the 'Yotes.....Sincerely doubt they have any interest in moving him. Besides, they have Mike Smith in goal.
  15. You have to remember that this is the National Hokey League we're talking about.
  16. No HDTV at the FN Center tonight: ‏@JaySkurski Morning skate updates: Thomas Vanek out, Ryan Miller back in http://bit.ly/162USgu
  17. Sorry, Missed that you posted this.
  18. You guys might want to take a listen to what Steve Ott had to say on the matter this morning on WGR: http://audio.wgr550.com/a/72322045/3-21-steve-ott-on-his-success-possible-trades-and-problems-with-team.htm The visor discussion begins at about 6 minutes into the conversation.
  19. IMO the League should grandfather the current players and make it mandatory for new players as they enter the league: @THNKenCampbellColin Campbell reiterates league DOES NOT require players' approval to make visors mandatory. Could invoke, then allow players to grieve. Sounds like Shanny better keep that location a secret.
  20. Just make sure you're the Poker and not the Pokee.
  21. 2 PM hearing with Shanny.
  22. Great game indeed. Getzlaf was a Man out there.
  23. I would love it if Roy became the next Sabres' head coach.
  24. Blackhawks @ Ducks tonight at 10:00 PM EDT on NHL Network. Should be a fun game to watch.
