@SabresStats Buffalo's 499 penalty minutes this season are the 3rd highest in the NHL. They have been shorthanded more times than another team.

Bet they addressed the disturbing trend of blowing leads and the seemingly inherent inability to close games out. One last push to make the playoffs as time is running out. Blah Blah Blah They'll come out blazing and probably do the same thing AGAIN to blow it in the end. Rinse and Repeat. <_<

He said he won't be reporting to the team's AHL affiliate, but will finish school and report to Buffalo's summer development camp in July. "That was important to me," Schaller said of earning his degree. Schaller said he will train on his own and work with skating coaches before reporting to Buffalo with the intent of earning a roster spot with the Sabres in the fall.

Regier actually said he's talked to all 30 GMs, which means he's talking to himself too. As bad as this season has been, who could blame him? Sabres seem to matchup well with the Bruins, they'll be competitive I'll bet. Maybe the Bruins have an Iggy hangover?
