Sabres' Sulzer out for rest of season after knee surgery; Leino, Ennis, Miller set to return against Senators "He had successful knee surgery and he will be out for the rest of the year," interim coach Ron Rolston said today. "What happens in those injuries – I’m not really a doctor, but I play one on TV – what happens is there’s so much swelling early on that it’s hard to diagnose early how damaged it is until that goes away and until they can actually go in there. "So it takes awhile for that swelling to go down, and then when they go in to determine how bad it is in terms of the repair, that’s why it took a little longer, but it was successful and he’s on the recovery path right now." He's got hockey sense...you could see it even in his 1st game up from the Amerks. Not jittery with the puck. Solid all around player with good effort. Looks the part of a keeper to me. Guys like him win a team games. His rebound control needs work, but I like Jhonas.
