It's not as if it's working out just great with him here and I'm ready to see him gone. That may not be enough for him, but his value will not be increasing as time moves forward into his UFA year. The burden of leadership is too much fro the guy IMO and it's having a negative impact on his play.
He needs to be unburdened so he can go back to the two way reliable player he used to be. I do not believe he can go back to that in Buffalo.
You're not going to have a team full of 30 -40 goal scorers on every line. I like what Nick Foligno brings to the table and he'd be a good example for Brother Marcus.
For Rick Nash, The Jackets got Artem Anisimov, Brandon Dubinsky, Tim Erixon and a first-round draft pick. he certainly will not bring that kind of return.
Pommer to Columbus for The NYR #1 Pick and Nick Foligno. Just an idea.
Send them #29 for the #1 pick they got in the Nash deal. Rangers looking like they'll miss the playoffs while the Jackets may actually make it.
How great would that be after the high hopes for NYR after getting Nash.
Flyer F Talbot is out for the season. Makes them more likely to get a top 5 pick. :sick:

Smid's extension in Edmonton does not include either a no-trade or no-move clause. #tradecentre
Surprised the Flyers would even entertain dealing Couturier:
@SunGarrioch
If the Flyers are going to make a deal for Ryane Clowe with San Jose the asking price is likely Sean Couturier in return. #Tradetracker
