Even though i do not think it is a goal (But who the hell am I!!!) it does not matter as the Sabres deserved to lose that game. The last 30 mins, they were 100% owned by the Isles. If Okposo had not scored a lucky goal, it would have been a lot worse i think.

I think i need to start bolding what i am commenting on. LOL I AM agreeing with you. Very steep, because the Sabres are seriously inconsistent. Throw the excuses up in the air for it, but they have been that way all year.

We do still have 2 more games with the Isles, and the Isles play Pitt as well. I am not saying we will, i do believe we are done with the current state of the team (Injuries) but it is possible. There just has not been that consistency to show that they will.

Like i said in another post...... we get physical players to play physical and they do not seem to last long before they are hurt. Definitely agree with the Dahlin comment. Thats why seriously upgrading the bottom pair of defense is definitely needed to take some pressure off of the top 2. Stillman could be that, but ohhhh thats right, he is hurt.

Not to get into that argument, but seriously. We have sucked for how many years? There maybe younger "newer" fans that may feel just that way. I have been a fan since day 1 so lived for the ups and downs and disappointments. Very possible younger fans really think that. Very sad

Worried? Only if there are no tweaks to the current team during the offseason. As much as i Stormcloud, we have a great core that will get better under Granato. Do we have issues? Yep... but is looks like KA does see them and i am assuming will address them during the offseason.

This team has zero depth. If we lose 1 dman we are screwed. Losing a top line player, we are screwed. Nobody is able to step up from the lower lines to help out with what we are missing. I will give some props to Quinn and Cozens has been a beast. Imagine if we put real scoring wingers on his wing!!! If we do not add to the talent, especially defensive dmen, even what we have coming up will not help. Ok, again, i get it, very young team, they are most likely very tired and banged up, but so is everyone else. Playoff teams rise to the occasion, non playoff teams fall flat. We are not a playoff team.

The Sabres played like *****. Goal or no goal, whatever. They got what they deserved that game. The Sabres lose the next two, please bury the playoff chat as they are done like dinner. The grind is killing the kids and their legs are rubber right now. Let me say the norm.... The grind will make them better, at least we are playing meaningful games in March, yada yada yada..... Plain and simple another year no playoffs.
