Why feel sad??? I have been screaming the faults with this team since I joined the board, when they are fixed, they will contend, I am not waiving the Sabre flag when they cannot beat a simple forecheck. And they are not a work in progress, they are in a forever rebuild, get it right.

This team has a heart of the cowardly lion. They are embarrassing against any team that plays them tight. THE Sabres way the last 10+ years. The suck continues with better scorers who cannot win 1 on 1 battles.

Big players do not mean they play big..... Taylor Pyatt ring a bell?? He was a serious purseboy. Maybe i should have just said NON PHYSICAL players. They can be 7' but they all mostly play small and would rather stick check then take a man. Even KA figured it out. This team with the exception of a couple of "Glass Joes" plays like Taylor Pyatt.

I do agree with this. In 2 years we are going to be very good. But, unless there are some additions and subtractions, we are going to be very good with the same old problems. What we have in the pipeline are smallish non physical players that will "swing the stick check" instead of using a body. We need to find a happy medium who will actually stand up at our blueline and do more then try to stick check. We have a great future, but do not piss it away by keeping the same old problems.

They need to show they want it tonight. They need to play their ***** off against a very good team in front of the home crowd. Guess we will find out in an hour or two who is in and who is not. Happy not to watch the Hulu broadcast and be able to watch the Sabres, but no laying the egg tonight!!!! I wish i was back in Buffalo again, would love to be going to all these games! Last home games i went to was at the Aud!! LOL But i have seen them in LA, SJ, Van, Tor, MTL, Chi, StL, Phi, NJ, and Wsh. Funny thay i am close but have never been to the Island and MSG.
