  1. That's what puzzles me as well. Perhaps they agreed to keep their gripes "in the locker room", and understood that publicly bad-mouthing the coach is generally a poor career move. That being said, the truth has an uncanny way of coming out eventually.
  2. I voted for Leaman. Not because he's the right choice, but because it's what I think the Pegulas will do. They will take the cheap route again. As long as they leave the Bills alone, I guess I'm resigned to them thrashing around with how to run a hockey team.
  3. Anyone watching the Rangers - Flyers game tonight? Did Ralph already hook up with the Flyers?
  4. I'm actually looking forward to RK's post-game presser, in a weird macabre kind of way.
  5. They're in a bit of a tough stretch right now, but their coaching and leadership are usually pretty good about righting the ship.
  6. Watching the Sabres is worse. I've been out here since 1988 so I've gotten used to the accents, including my wife's!
  7. Not watching as it's not on here in MA. I'm just here for the witty banter and gallows humor.
  8. Yep. Following the puck took a lot of concentration and a bit of imagination.
  9. We had an antenna on the roof and if the wind was blowing just right, we'd get stations out of Toronto and St. Catherines (?). I still remember watching Hockey Night in Canada with Brian McFarlane and Howie Meeker back in the early/mid 70s. I still love that theme song to this day!
  10. I was watching the guys on the NHL Network when they showed that goal, and they were killing the Sabres over their mental mistakes. It's to the point where they sound like they actually pity the team. Sofa King Embarrassing.
  11. So who is it we're hoping to land with this tank job? This IS a tank job, right???
  12. Bad goaltending is so deflating, especially when you start to show signs of life offensively. ☹️
  13. Is that you Ralph? I mean Justin. Er...I mean...
  14. Die hard Sabres fan, but I’m not gonna lie, living here in northeastern Mass where all their games are on, I admire the way the Bruins play. I watched some of the recent games against the Caps, and compared to recent Sabres games, the difference was, um... stark. Night and day. It was like watching playoff hockey.
