And yet another October starts to come into focus for us Buffalo fans. Sabres with all the new toys lose to NJ (who is supposed to be worse than them) and the Bills with all their new toys lose to the Jags.... Sheesh this city is absolutely cursed.

So I came home to find out that even though I dump buckets of money into NFL Sunday ticket, this game is not available to me in Baltimore. Are you freaking kidding me?

I stopped watching the game mid second last night. Shades of last year. This team excels at hitting goal posts. It's a fine quality to possess. They are better to watch, but the results are the same. Back up goal tender comes in to town and this team pings the pipes instead of lighting the lamp.

What we should have had was PIMs too. I actually play in one league where you lose points for PIMs. Puts a whole different perspective on player selection. We use a point system vice category. Every now and then something completely unexpected happens that blows up your night/week, like a guy like Patrice Bergeron getting a 10 minute major... Puts a degree of randomness in it that I like. It also makes a selection of Marchand or Lucic a risk/reward/penalty proposition. -
After watching my first 3x3 last night, I think the NHL erred on keeping the shootout. That is so wide open that all games would end, IMO, with 10 minutes. It takes more than 5 minutes to run the shootout. They should just let these teams finish it on the ice, like men.

My Top 5 reasons why the Bills are just 3-3 1. Inconsistent offense leaves defense out there all game 2. Boneheaded Penalties 3. No, zero, zip, nada credible pass rush 4. Injuries to McCoy, Williamson, glass man and Harvin 5. Really poor O-Line play Other than that, it's all peachy

So today's news is Carson is ahead in Iowa by 8 now.. So in my follow up to being amazed by Trump and I am equally amazed at Carson. He is such a lightweight, I can't figure out why anyone would vote for him. The Republican party is doomed.
