I watched them in DC tonight. They got some fluky goals.. Went to last two Caps games. Saw a total of 18 goals scored. I have seen more goals in two games than the Sabres have scored all season.

The Dems are also losing key Governorships. Looks like the Dems will keep Virginia. Turns out my hotel is campaign night headquarters for Gillespie. Went down and mingled with the nervous Gillespie crowd.

Meanwhile, the Republicans are about to take control of the Senate. If you thought you knew gridlock before, wait until Jan 1, 2014. Soon it will be the President and Senate Democrats playing the veto and minority party blocking veto override cards. Hillary will start running in 30 days or so. She won't be so cocky this time and get usurped by some unknown Senator from Illinois. I wonder how the world would be different if it was President Clinton and Secretary of State Obama these last six years? Certainly Iran, Afghanistan and Health Care would be different.
