Relocated to Sarasota seven years ago in May expecting to be a snow bird. Stayed that first summer and discovered the heat wasn’t too bad. Sold my home in NJ and been here ever since. Amazing what sunshine and blue sky can do for your state of mind. Even for a lifelong Sabre fan about to miss the playoffs for the 14th year in a row. 😎

If Zucker joins Greenway and resigns, it will be a good sign, imo. Zucker will be pursued by contenders.

Think Tuch has always been a skilled player, a good leader and great teammate but tended to float too often in some games I watched in the first half of the season. Might have been because of nagging injury. Since the break haven’t seen him floating in games I’ve watched and I’ve seen most of them on Center Ice. And, he loves being a Sabre. Wouldn’t trade Tuch, Thompson, or Dahlin unless Adams is tearing it all down. That said, Adams better bring in a few veteran pieces in the offseason or we risk losing one or more of this core, imo.

No excuses next season. The Sabres must get some playoff experience. We need a veteran RHD and a Center and Forward with playoff experience. We are wasting Tuch and Thompson’s early prime years. It will soon be demotivating to them and Dahlin, imo. If GMKA doesn’t act, it will speak volumes to me.
