Against Ottawa the other night after Dion the Poof scored, he skated by Lehner and yapped at him a little bit. Lehner, to his credit, just leaned against the crossbar and didn't let it bother him and get engaged at all. And I'm sure the princess wasn't asking him where he was going to eat after the game.

I could see them beating Chicago and St. Louis, and going 1-3 against Colorado and Arizona.

4 of the next 7 Sabres games are against the two worst teams in the league. That's 8 points for the taking. If they could split the other 6 points and grab 3, that would be huge. I don't see it happening, and there is talk that if they don't take advantage of this soft spot that DB is gone. I wonder if they have a replacement coach in mind and would then let Terry finish the season as interim. I am fine with Terry finishing the season behind the bench, but want something new for next season.

What I like is that Lehner is already acting like a leader at his young age. This kid ain't scared to tell it like it is. He has the potential to be something special IMO. Want to see him with more than two good defenseman in front of him.

Will Jack Eichel ever get a hat trick? I did too, tough kid that always gave 110%.

Might just watch the first and third periods. The Sabres don't show up for second periods, so why should I. Kane lost shifts the other night later in the game so I'm thinking his wrist is bothering him more than they let on.
