I said Ottawa deserved a penalty as well. But also, how many times has Boston been on the other side of those calls? More often than not. the Bruins.....and the Leafs. I agree, it's not the Leafs fault the Pugulas have no clue how to run sports franchises. Still hate them though. And on another note, Calgary by far has the most fans wearing home jerseys to games.

Bieksa, who could pose as Layne Staley's twin brother, is the kind of d-man the Sabres need. Ain't gonna light up the scoreboard (except the penalty section) but he is the kind of nasty this team severely lacks on D. I would take him as a third pair guy any day. And speak of the Bieksa devil.......good fight there.

Who said anything about being happy regarding Polak's gruesome injury? I hate the Leafs, but to see them play almost an entire game with 5 d-men and win was pretty resilient. Now go home, lol And on another note, the NHL needs to get rid of replay. I saw three challenges today and they got all three wrong IMO. These guys are worse than the NFL when it comes to replay.

The more I watch Toronto succeed, the more I hate the entire Sabres organization. joke they are. Pegula who knows zero about football is out scouting QBs while nothing is being done about the Sabres situation, which is basically why Murray had nothing to report. Bylsma shoulda been fired on Wed at the latest.

He was garbage in game one too with just one SOG. I think the long season is catching up with the youngsters. Andersen is the only reason the Leafs are competing. I just hope if and when the Sabres make the playoffs they can keep games close like Toronto. Right now with Bylsma's system, Buffalo would get swept right out in the first round.

I was shocked to see him helped off the ice without a stretcher. But with the shin pads, tape and tight solid skates, his lower leg is basically already immobilized. Once that stuff comes off, he is gonna be in a world of hurt. That thing will blow up like a balloon.

Same , different year. They are my 2nd team and I would really love to see Ovie hoist the cup, but come playoff time they just play like garbage. They should sweep Toronto without any problems. They could still sweep, but not in dominating fashion, that's for sure.
