  1. Senators holding in neutral zone, no call. This PP sucked.
  2. If you think it isn’t, then you never played the game. They are in the same division and coming up at the same pace. Lots of players the same age that know each other. Comments like yours make me question your understanding of the game and this league.
  3. Sabres needs to turn up the grit. Don’t let them hack at Anderson.
  4. Ref sucked that up. That was a good check. Unlike Tkachuck on Kyle.
  5. Otters want to show Buffalo they are in the division and right with us. This is an important game.
  6. Now that man deserves recognition. Season tickets since the Bison’s days. Awesome. Tuch gets the Rico. Awesome. MUSCLE WEIGHT
  7. Playoffs or not, Ottawa picked up two very good hockey players.
  8. For the Sabres, I would say the worst given he had 3 years to do something, anything. His last season (2013-14) he played 58 games, 0 goals, 15 assists, and was -16. It was the worst performance by a Sabres forward I have ever seen. The numbers are bad, and the way he played was worse than the numbers. Then he had the nerve to say bad things about the team after he left, never to play another NHL game. He is a bum. and Mitts is doing fine at 1C.
  9. OK, fair enough, he is sadden by his teams loss. KA puts the positive spin on it like he should. That game is over and he has a pro contract to sign. He is a #1 draft choice and he should have a roadmap and plan to be in the NHL right now, which means get on contract and start playing hockey for this team and burn that first year ECL. Thinking things though does not impress me as much as it concerns me with this kid. You can say it shows he is smart or careful - but also reluctant and unsure.
  10. A lot of people rail on Jokiharu here, especially in the last Devils game. I think he could be a good 5/6 third pair guy right now, and he could jump up top 4 if needed to cover injuries. More upper body strength will help him. He is still young for a defenseman. I would like to see this happen, but it won't. Adams should at least get us a veteran #4. Come on Kyvie! Dahlin - Muel Power - new VET Joker - new VET rotate spare 7/8 - Lybushkin, Stillman 9/10 in Rochester - Johnson and Clague.
  11. It does not sound like Adams. He has been talking about signing Johnson and said that he thinks he is an NHL player. Why would the Sabres wait until now to reconsider signing him in favor of a very late 2nd round pick next year, not this year? I'll bet if there is a problem, it is with what Johnson wants in the contract. If Johnson walks he walks, and we take the pick. It will not have any effect on the team next year, Johnson should most likely play in Rochester next season and we should be upgrading the defense with proven NHL players in an effort to improve to a playoff caliber team.
  12. Never happen. You will be posting all summer long
  13. Sone people here think, and posted, that he goes back into the draft if he doesn’t sign. I believe he becomes a free agent. This doesn’t make sense or sound like Adams.
  14. Yes, it should be Anderson tonight with a special send off and Big W. Ottawa will be looking to win, they are a rival. I expect a full house with lots of Ottawa fans there.

  16. Because he played the night before. Playoffs do have back to back games.
  17. I am still processing the loss. They played hard last night but they didn't finish offensively and they made too many gaffes in the defensive zone. I see the forwards loose play as part of the problem with the defensive system but the 3rd pairing defense is not very good no matter who is on it. Fatigue was also a factor last night. The team gave it their all and in many ways they over-achieved. I seriously believe that Adams did not expected the season to be this successful, and in some ways he did not do enough (especially goaltending). Poster's here commenting on the two losing streaks. That was mostly goaltending and lack of depth on defense, but also it is the youth and inexperience. Even our vets have very little experience winning and handling adversity. Girgs and Skinner have never won. Kyle has limited playoff experience. Only Tuch has tasted being on a successful team. Coaching - I think Granato did a nice job overall. Still don't like the extreme focus on offense to the detriment of the defense. Still not sure he can, or will, coach a system that can consistently work against the elite teams in this league. Next year will be big for him, assuming Adams gets him more NHL players to work with. Adams - I do not want to see only minimal off season moves, the addition of 2 or 3 more rookies, and building almost 100% from within. But I think that is likely to happen. We still have holes in net and on the blueline that rookies and journeymen type players are not going to fix. Overall a very good effort this year by the team and the coaches. The future is bright. Adams needs to now make some moves that puts us at another level.
  18. We just need you to keep being negative, it works for us as they tend to prove to wrong. When you flip to positive they go the opposite way.
  19. What I want: Bring in a goalie. We need a 1B in case Levi hits a wall. Why can't we have two starting caliber goalie's? What will really happen: Levi 1, UPL 2, Comrie packaged in a trade, Andy retired.
  20. Ok. If that’s your take. I’ll stick with goaltending and defensive depth. Me too
  21. We were worse with Samuelsson and Dahlin out. There is no depth on D. if you complain about injuries look no further than depth on defense. At least there is some depth at forward.
  22. Levi kept us in for awhile. I don’t know why Stillman was not playing. Bryson is the weakest link on this team.
  23. The loss of him hurt, as did Tuch and Dahlin and Samuelsson. Why the poster singled out Tage is ridiculous and unfair. He didn’t play like dog$hit either. He played hurt. The goaltending and the defensive system are the reason we fell short. Not Tage and his injuries.
