  1. Of course, but their are some that don't speak balloon knot joy, thought I'd interpret is all.
  2. I actually believe Boston played extremely light, given their normal play. I really wonder if NLHPA and owner ship conversations about the Sabres are monetary driven.....a "let them take a game" mindset.
  3. No kidding. The wife and I were looking at 217. We opted out. Decided not to spend money on misery.
  4. So happy holidays to all. I just dropped my entire bank account on outddors portable grilling gear and drones for the kids and grandkids. To give context, it took me 2 years to save for 4k worth of Xmas gifts. A big ***** YOU to Terry. I would have bought season tickets, for the family, in the 200 section, but......you have ***** us enough, my ***** actually hurts from your repeated ram riding. Therefore, my children will now cheer for waffles.
  5. Be competitive for 30 min instead of 20......baby steps. Not expecting a win, but any sign of life in the first 10 minutes of the 1st period would be.......progress?
  6. I hope he immediately joins the fans and starts boo'ing the team.
  7. I think your right. In more ways than one. Remember the nose and glassed disguise bit in the GDT a few nights back? You commented it's McDermott, well, the Bills defense gives up late game winning drives, the Sabres defense gives up early game drives. Is there a chance McDermott pits on the nose and glasses while driving from the stadium to the arena? Hmmmmm......
  8. I didn't say it was great, I said it's had a bit of a Renassaince in response to your comment that it's dying. Yes brick and mortar are closing, that's happening nationally to many large and mid cap cities, welcome the the age of the internet, where you can shop from home, without having to travel in to an actual store/shop. This isn't a Western New York only situation. As I said, that's happening everywhere.
  9. There is just no sugar coating it. The excitement of young Hungary players, gone. The anticipation of the team building upon the supposed chemistry of late last season, gone. The widely held goal of finally skating out of the forest and in to a playoff birth, gone. The Buffalo Sabres do have skilled, talented, young hockey players throughout their organizational pipeline, from the juniors, Eruo and Russian leagues uo on through its AHL affiliate and even on its NHL roster. They sorely lack veteran leadership in the locker room, players that can patrol the ice while the young develop a bit, a true #1 goalie and at least 2 top 4 D men that use the body effectively. The coaching is most certainly subpar, these hirings of first time NHL GM and Coaching staffs are the key factor in this team's fortunes. Terrible, just straight out nightmarish results. We all see what's lacking and point it out in some way or another, Management, Coaching, Player/Roster Configuration. So many have had enough of this. So, when does it end? Sadly, I myself am now of the mindset, that it doesn't, at least, not for the next 2 seasons. I just don't see Pegula firing guys repeatedly he just handed out extensions to. He's done that for years now, but keeps making the same mistake of hiring inexperience. For those pointing out it starts at the top, I completely agree. Therefore, I am moving in to the "Sell the team Terry" camp. If we lose them to relocation, then so be it, because it's useless to have a team here I won't go see anyways. I'm actually to that point now.
  10. A dying city? Buffalo has had a bit of a Rennasaince these past 15 yrs or so. The area is getting a 1+ billion dollar stadium for its NFL team. In the past 8 yrs, the actual manufacturing base has kept its loss to gain ratio in the positive, more of a out with old, in with the new type scenario, it's merely shifted location from the water availability driven North Towns to the ease of transportation system availability of the South and East Towns. Dying city/region? Not reality.
  11. Why, we'll only squander the high draft pick, destroying some next young kids love of the game, but not before hiring another rookie GM and Coaching staff.
  12. I've stopped buying Sabres merchandise. My daughter is an ice clearer for them, I've gotten Sabres gear for my family every holiday and b day. I'm done. Been to 1 game this year, won't go to another until changes for the positive are made.
  13. I'm done with Adams at this point as well. I've edited my Fire Granato thread. Fire Adams, Fire the coaching staff, get some experience in here, Sabres faithful have suffered enough.
  14. They've got to get rid of this coaching staff. And I'm changing the title, complete lack of action by Adams is completely unacceptable, I'm done with him to at this point.
  15. This team is so bad, it really is quite astounding just how bad this organization is. It actually defy's all reason, and yet, here we are. Buffalo hockey faithful fans deserve so much better.
  16. Granato won't get fired. Pegulas just......different. He sure does love coaches with no NHL experience.
  17. Why? I love comedies and the Sabres are pure gold comedy 🤣
  18. Of course, Granato said they'd teach defense this season 🤣
