  1. I like that Williams. He looked hungry in the Miami game.
  2. Ravens DB's are weak, they leave a lot in the middle open playing zone. Allen will exploit this. Their front 4 are good at the pass rush, I expect a big battle on the line trenches. Their pass game flows with Jackson's ability to scramble, much like Josh. Their receivers are nothing special. Their run game is similar to the Colts imo. Weather, if the projection holds light winds, light snow, heavily favors Buffalo. Contain Jackson and it's game over for Baltimore. Buffalo 34 - Baltimore 24 Bills advance.
  3. Not looking good for Buffalo. Time of Possession, field position, running down the clock via run game are killing this team. Without adjustments, Buffalo loses this game.
  4. Our boys should do well today. Looking forward to it. Go Bills.
  5. Sadly, I have confidence in neither to achieve a level necessary to Cup Compete.
  6. I worked there for a couple of years back 10 yrs ago. I just didn't feel the blue collar type rowdy crowd I've felt in other hockey towns.
  7. Bummer. Get well Z.
  8. Spoke with my brother-in-law late last night. He's still home, has a lingering deep cough and some body aches but he's slowly mending. After a brief convo to send love and wish him well spoke with my sister, she says the Doc told her he will have life long lasting damage from this, lungs and neurological. She didn't specify but Covid ravaged Rich for sure. My heart goes to him and their family. Things will never be the same for them I'd imagine.
  9. Meh, I'm indifferent to the division names. Once they changed them from my lifetime's originals, I haven't really paid attention to the names, but the helmet and uniform thing, yea, that would suck, not interested.
  10. I don't believe he is, and I wouldn't move Reinhart for him, nor would I move Cozens for him. I would like to move salary however, and I'm looking at the D. Specifically Risto. We're just spiff-balling anyways, so why not have some fun. Rittich and Gaudreau for Risto, Hutton and our 1st, Calgary has Domingue available as a back up anyways, that leaves them Hanifan to move to help better them, sling Gaudreau for PLD and Columbus 1st. Gaudreau is a bit older at 27, but if PLD wants out and they want a gamer, Gaudreau seems viable. Calgary gets an RD, Columbus gets an established scorer to replace PLD, Buffalo gets PLD, a back up goalie and replaces their 1st rdr. Money checks out on Cap Friendly. Some secondary pieces may be in play, but not overly concerned.
  11. I don't like Seattle in the NHL anyways, that town just doesn't have the right "feel" for an NHL town.
  12. I would, and I'd want a right handed RW'er to come in through another move to offset Reinharts loss. I do believe Buffalo has the assets to acquire PLD without Cozens involved. How that would shake out is interesting. We have some good young guys in the pipeline now, Pekar, Cozens, Peterka? and a couple of D men that may work out, but outside of Cozens, some of these guys will post expansion draft ready. I'd like to see Eichel get some longer term help than Staal and Hall is all.
  13. I think Bezio's will demand it be called the Amazon Cup, and if the NHL doesn't comply he'll refuse to deliver it to the winner
  14. Ya, I thought about that as well. Another move would have to made, most likely a Risto deal. But, it's the slow season, so why not entertain the idea to fill a couple of hours of the countdown to the season.
  15. As I eluded to in the post above, most of these estimations on cost are skewed to an extent. Trade deals for top 6 talent have in point of fact occured without assets that were heavily touted in the past. But, in the interest of meaningful disclosure, as, once again I point to above, we are in the win now mode. Eichel supersedes Cozens by volumes, and as of last season, Eichel isn't happy. You build for immediate help in my opinion, not for a couple years from now, and that's where I view Cozens, a couple seasons away still.
  16. I'm not discounting the cost mind you, but I've read asks like this before and they turn out to be a bit off. And the Sabres are most definitely in win now mode in my opinion, give Eichel's assuredly completely dissatisfied here in Buffalo to this point, and who would blame him. But a 22 yr old 50/60 point top 6 C/LW that is team controlled and under a reasonable 5 mil contract for 2 seasons, would appear to be a great replacement for Hall at LW at a reasonable aav, thereby keeping dollars free for Dahlin, who's sure to get a nice raise and guys like Staal, who are here on a 1 yr deal. If a trade like this is made, it's for both immediate and long term viability with a known commodity. Like I posted above, if I'm Adams, I'm inquiring, no harm in having the conversations, trying to find a workable deal, it costs nothing to that point anyways.
  17. I'd seriously inquire if I'm Adams.
  18. Not often, but sometimes, just sometimes, the stars align and it brings that smile..... 🙂
  19. Bills TE Kroft tested positive for covid-19, will not play today or next week.
  20. Why in the hell would someone do that? That's just straight out wacko behavior.
  21. I still like Calgary as a potential partner.
  22. Just spoke with sis, he's home now, cough medicine and caphlacs? for the seizures. He has an appointment with a neurologist. She did say they were pumping him with something for covid while in the hospital, but doesn't know what. They're both resting now.
  23. Yep, I remember this.
  24. I just spoke with my sis. Here is what I know. Rich is due to be released today, to make room in the hospital. His last convulsion was his day of admittance (5 days ago? Maybe 6? Unsure), he has a heavy dry cough still, they are sending some meds home with him along with prescrips, I'll get all that info together when she gets him home and I speak with her and I'll post later. As for her and my nephew, she is awaiting a special release document? of some type from the county and since they live in Cambria up in Niagara County but he's in Erie County at the hospital something about awaiting approval from both counties. Don't know if she gets escorted due to tracing, she didn't mentiin that aspect. Rich however, cannot drive for 6 months, the seizures, he will need to see a neurologist they said, which puts my sis in a bad spot as she's going to have to on disability? Until it's clear to leave him alone at home so she can return to work. What a mess. I told her the family will be there for them so not to worry about bills, groceries, etc. Like I said, what a mess. Covid can suck my....... I digress, anger solves nothing.
  25. I'm unaware as to how they are treating him unfortunately.
