It's been fun watching Pilut play and it looks like he will be with the big club for a number of games more at a minimum. I hope they find ways to keep him up as long as he is playing well and developing. If/when he goes back down it shouldn't be for too long. It's so great to have these type of discussions versus "who sucks the least" like the past few years!

I just want to thank everyone who contributed to the D player situation that will be facing JBOT. I feel much better knowing JBOT has a lot of good options going forward. A question if anyone wants to answer.....is there a strong scenario where Baloo gets resigned next year? The only way I see that is if Scandella is moved assuming of course McCabe is re-signed.

Honestly, who misses those "ROR Speedwagon" interviews? "Byls, I can't fight this feeling anymore...............I've forgotten what I started playing for..............". Both sides are better off now.

IF Skinner is in the cards to sign with the Sabres I just don't see the future of the 1st line being Skinner/Jack/Samson. Jack and Skinner are the duo that are lighting it up and complimenting each other. Just seems to me that Samson has to be one of the keys for the 2nd line duo.

I say no it wasn't. So many times during the streak they played like it was playoff hockey. Why they have gone back to coasting is beyond me. If the team comes out slow in the 3rd I may have to take a game or two off in watching................they sure have taken a bunch off. Pushing hard and going down in flames I can take............this stuff lately I can't!

Well it's the 2nd period and I'm already prepared to start screaming. Why? Why can't they start strong in the 2nd?

If they take 15+ minutes off coasting in the 2nd again...............I'll scream. When they do that I don't know if it's the players fault or the coaching or both.

A very good post. McCabe and Scandella (who I think is too maligned by many) are very much missed. Sabres could of easily been up 4-0 in the 1st. Once again the whole team failed to show up for the 2nd. Waiting to turn it on in the 3rd failed miserably after the shorty. I'll say again, I think Samson has to anchor the 2nd line and he needs to "bring it" in more than flashes. I would like to see Reinhart and Okposo take on more leadership to help Jack.
