  1. That’s fair and hopefully true.
  2. I had the wrong page pulled up.
  3. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/prospect-interest-isak-rosen-skills-par-marner-kane/ “(When) you go back to the same age you're talking about a guy who's showing the same skills and talent as the Mitch Marners and the Patrick Kanes,” said Marr. “These little guys who when they're soaking wet they hardly weigh anything, but they have this elusive speed, smarts and skills that they can go out and generate offence.”
  4. One year in Sweden then one in the AHL.
  5. Not always an easy transition from Jrs to the pro. Going to the SHL is hard. He'll need at least another year in Sweden. Elite Prospects has him at 161 lbs
  6. Kid has 12 points in 12 SHL Jr games and was excellent at the U18s with 7 goals and 9 points in 7 games. We need scoring and this kid can do it.
  7. The Sabres draft Isak Rosen. Holy sh..t. I had him at 21.
  8. With the 13th pick the former Atlanta Flames choose Matt Coronato. (17th on my board) So who's next. Lucius?
  9. With 3 picks to go; Wallstadt, Lucius, Sillinger, Lysell, Svechkov and Raty still on the board. Ott's pick Boucher, I had 45th on my board.
  10. No real surprises so far. Guenther and Wallstadt the only top 10 players left on my board. Guenther was 6th and Wallstadt is 10th
  11. Great pick for SJ. Eklund might end up being the best player in the draft.
  12. In Powers defense he was excellent at the Worlds against pros. I know he is already better then Colin Miller
  13. Because he is the guy who broke this story.
  14. Is it a fire sale if we only trade one of big three?
  15. I think Jack stays, but who knows with 19 minutes to go.
  16. They will. A vet with a contract. Dahlin ??? Bryson Jokiharju Hagg Miller That’s our depth chart right now.
  17. Has Ullmark re-signed yet? No? Got to love Eklund. Has he ever had a real scoop?
  18. On my consensus board I have Power at one, but I would draft Clarke ahead of him as well. I'd probably put Hughes ahead of him also.
  19. Obstinate maybe, but I'm not uncooperative.
  20. I project him as Miller’s partner next season playing 15 minutes per night in a very simple stay at home role.
  21. I wonder if people are over looking Hagg as part of this deal. He never developed (or at least hasn’t) offensively as people thought in the 2013 draft, but I think he could become more like McCabe. He has size, can skate and with Girardi’s help I think he’ll become a solid stay at home D.
  22. If we want to be harder to play against, Zach L'Heureux, who I have 30th on my board, would be a real interesting pick at 33 if available. He could easily become our Marchand.
  23. It would really depend on how they view UPL and Portillo. If you draft a goalie that early you expect him to be your franchise goalie in a year or two. That would mean that they don't see UPL as that guy.
  24. I think the return for Risto was excellent, but Hagg is not a step forward on the ice for next season. So "good" trade, but not a step forward in the short-term.
