I’m patient with players and If KA trades Reinhart for Levi and a conditional first he should be fired. Had he signed Reinhart for this season and then traded him at the deadline he would have received more. Risto trade gave me hope and this one took it away again.

Why are people saying Hepomiemi is a bust prospect. He is 22 with 9 games of NHL experience, but was a 1pt a game player in two leagues last season. This is the same group that said Mitts was a bust (wrongly) and extolled the virtues of a 24 year old D with 14 games of NHL experience and zero points in those games. I think I’ll take a wait and see attitude if this kid is coming here thanks.

My guess it’s going to be Lundell, a 2nd this year, a 2nd next year which becomes a 1st if he re-signs or signs beyond a year, Bennett and a contract

Didn't really convert the "high" skill into points according to the draft coverage on ESPN2. Also McKenzie has him at 28 on his board. The NHL coverage has Raty 19 and Pinelli 20.

We need prospects and NHLers. I also don't think either guy is getting traded until maybe the deadline. EDIT: Friedmann proved me wrong pretty quickly.

I have 3 ballots that had him at 16, one at 17 and three at 18. No not a huge reach and I suspect they had info that they were comfortable with.

IMHO both guys rated lower then 33. I think there will guys rated in the 20's available when we pick here.

I'm kind of surprised that Raty hasn't been draft. Expect another couple D here soon. Lambos and Chayka likely to go soon. There are 9 guys left from my top 32 with 6 picks left in the 1st rd.

From my board we have had two selections from my second round in 42 Wyatt Johnson who went 23rd and 45 Tyler Boucher who went 10th overall to Ott. The more guys that teams take "off the board" the better option we'll have at 33. I'm really interested in L'Heureux to give this team more attitude.

Honestly after the top 9 skaters this draft is a crapshoot. I would have taken Lysell (he fell to 21) if they wanted a RW, but my guess is teams are going with guys they have the best info on given the crazy scouting year last season.
