  1. He actually laughed at the absurdity of it
  2. He’s an ***** Outright. He’s just an ***** You know who actually feels bad for the ***** fans? Me. The fans feel bad for the fans. The organization doesn’t give two shits. There’s no argument against this
  3. “Kevyn Adams” lmao seriously, try it! Say the name out loud and it conjures instant hilarity This guy is sitting here with a ***** eating grin laughing, saying he “feels bad for our fans” Dude you are a grade A fraud This is passing the lines of a professional grudge
  4. It’s true- but when the team has been completely terrible in all facets for 5 years it really really pushes the bounds of believability to suppose the “difficulty” can be construed in any way as something that facilitates positive results for our club We find the franchise difficult to deal with, too, no? I sense a fairly overlapped Venn diagram I’ll keep saying it - there’s a conflict of interest with the fans, the organization doesn’t have the same goals. I’d imagine that would also be a nightmare to deal with for other GMs - we aren’t playing the same game
  5. Sabres became a joke when Terry bought the bills Sad, embarrassing - we shouldn’t be giving this team the time of day. alas
  6. What do you mean the multitude of 50/50 bets I placed didn’t all turn out my way? If they would have, we’d have been good. Can’t argue that Ya, you have to sign him trade, viable too, but dont really see it
  7. Branching off this, we are of course the exact opposite, with Tuch: caught between 2 inconvenient choices; a poor problem to have.
  8. Exactly how the GM should have been operating when his contract was at its most valuable. ALAS
  9. Of course not, why would they? You shoot for the moon and when you miss you land among the stars Maybe I’m not making my point clear, again: you are looking to add everywhere because you are more likely to get the best player outright if you expand the horizon of what you are looking for there isn’t anywhere the sabres don’t have room. There isn’t anywhere the sabres have less room. Vegas added their best player in a deal after already being perennials
  10. He’s a complete tool Blocked me for stating it outright. weird, people don’t like to be called frauds for some reason in a public forum…who knew
  11. I’ve said it a million times and they obviously agree,( in fact I’ve seen a definitive shift in how they’ve been operating in the last year or so, increasingly so, where they their thinking is starting to get well closer to mine, finally.) it’s a BPA offseason. We can, and should if possible, add everywhere the wish list says two top 6 forwards cause it should. It should read: 2 Top 6 forwards 2 bottom 6 forwards 2 top 4 D 2 goalies 2 bourbon 2 scotch 2 beer seriously tho. Ditch the guys WE don’t want to be here. The scent of desperation has never in the history of time been attractive
  12. I‘m not the board, though. we can’t trade futures to get it done? And trade the guys we need to for futures, to make room?
  13. Crazy season for SGA. One of the best individual nba seasons ever belongs to a Canadian
  14. It’s just like the “save money for the RFAs” thing. How did that turn out? the sabres never get to “good problems to have” stage because they don’t create an environment where good scenarios emerge Cart/horse, always don’t build a playoff team, build a cup team ok, you hubristic bastards
  15. If you don’t qualify for the playoffs you get an extra 2 month head start The sabres are the league outlier in terms of performance. If there are any deals being made at all, Sabres should be among them “well what about the rest of the league?” Is one serious lol? Who cares! Are we not in a completely different position to everyone? the “common standards of the league” are so often applied to Buffalo when we KNOW the sabres aren’t the standard. “No one trades a high first.” No one misses the playoffs 14 years. Trade it
  16. Keep telling yourself that so you can make yourself feel better that making the playoffs doesn’t actually matter 👍 It matters. It’s what most fans want. It’s a ridiculously low bar, it IS attainable, it is because of the FRANCHISE we don’t have it, and no matter how much you so desperately want to blame the fans, you can’t do it. You desperately, desperately need to tell yourself that the fans interests are disingenuous - it terrifies you that what the fans want is actually attainable and that the franchise is responsible. For you, you HAVE to believe the fans can’t be happy. You NEED to believe the organization can’t satisfy. the simple admittance most fans would be happy with playoffs torpedoes the image of the org and by dammnit Promo wont have it
  17. Ridiculously sad to see Haliburton go down like that
  18. Hard to say the order of the Cs, tbh they’d probably be saying they are after a “1C” if that was reasonably attainable, unless the plan for Tage is back to C. If we add a 2C as is, I suppose we’d have 3 guys who can be 2C on a good day. Suppose they’d be hoping you get a viable 1, 2 and 3 out of that (the 1 will be lacking, the 3 hypothetically an advantage). But to me that’s more of a solid plan if we had 3 written in stone 2Cs. McLeod and Norris are more so “maybes” on that front and we don’t even have the third guy yet. their idea to keep adding Cs is a good one - we need it I wouldn’t worry about “room” for anyone - we can afford to add literally everywhere
  19. In a way it’s easy to put the pieces together there because we KNOW Botterill got fired because he didn’t agree with cutting costs. What are the odds HE was the one against doling out cash to Reinhart?
