Not a strong showing if you ask me. Too bad it is the only exhibitin game. Guhle on D was the worst on the ice for me. If that's the best footwork he has, how the hell did he make the team? Almost like the game was too fast for him. Also, he was 0 for 4 on zone exits and 0 for 1 on zone entries.

Goalies were very good this game. Teams were rusty with Russia probably showing more than Canada. Not happy at all with the Newhook line. Been together ALL camp.

The Jets play TO (and the Sens) 10 times this year! Really looking forward to those games against TO.

The NHL and the players have a LOT to figure out here. Different laws in different states/provinces, some teams (rumor is Sharks and Habs) not able to open in their buildings. Are they going to hubs? It can be easy to make something out of this mess especially since it changes. I'm guessing they start playing around the 18th or so.

I can see some Jets/Flames games getting rougher than usual...especially the 8th or 9th time they play.

Give players 3 days to get to town and that is the 21st. A 14 day quarantine as son as they hit Canada brings us to January 4th. A 10 day training camp and they are ready to go on the 15th. If Team Canada makes the gold medal game, players could be in camp by the 6th or 7th. Would they have to quarantine in the states if they are coming from the bubble in Deadmonton?

Maybe it won't start on the 13th? Maybe the 23rd or the 30th?

It could be that they have been thinking of Quinn as the finisher with Cozens/Dach all along as well. Whichever player gets that spot is going to be in the spotlight for sure.

I honestly think his coach would be harder on him than if he weren't his player.
