Yes and that is 1000% on DG. I get Cozen’s had a goal in this game but putting him out there for OT more than once is plain stupid. You put the people out there you have the best chance to score. That is NOT Cozen’s and Power.

Cozen said in the post game they sat back and tried to win the game without scoring another goal. They were not gassed, they just decided to not play offense

It is to a point. Teams are starting to figure it out, like the Penguins, so that inconsistency will disappear. I know I’m a pessimist with the Sabres but I don’t know if they figure it out. Also, when do we stop using “young team” as a crutch especially since they were suppose to contend for the playoffs?
