I've been sick with allergies for almost 3 weeks. Stuffy nose and stuff running down throat. Tried different medicines without success. Had to sleep a couple nights in a chair because I kept coughing when I layed down. And at work they have to AC too high so it's always cold.
And our guinea pig we've had for 6 years died of old age. Had to bury her in the backyard.

There's a convention in St. John's this weekend.
Should've moved the game to Winnipeg, they'd probably get a bigger crowd.

So the AHL final game 3 was played in St Johns last night. But they don't play next until Monday night. What else could be going on in St Johns that would prevent them from playing this weekend? This series will probably go longer than the NHL.

Did anyone ask if POWs in other wars were deserters as a condition for getting their release? What if this guy has some mental problem or PTSD that caused him to walk away. Everyone's jumping to conclusions based on hearsay. Lets wait until he's been evaluated and interrogated, and see what conclusions are made.
And there's nothing that prevents the US from sending a drone strike to take out the 5 that were released whenever it's the right time.

Dream finals match-up for the league. The two biggest media markets make the finals.
But I bet there's more Chicago fans than LA fans. Probably more people in LA will watch soccer over hockey.

The NHL has suspended John Scott for 10 games for playing on the same line as Konopka, and an additional 5 games for commenting on Lucic's handshake actions.

Why get rid of Cassidy? He did well with a young and often depleted lineup, and the players like him.

So St Louis continues to screw us as they sent Cracknell down after they were eliminated and he has a 3 point game for Wolves. What happened to the Amerks special teams, 3 PP and 1 SH goal against.

Looks like I'll be 3 for 3 tonight with the teams I wanted to win. But these late games are killing me when I have to get up for work in the morning.

I thought he waved it off because Av player was in crease and got in goalie's way before puck went in. Should have at least been a crease violation and no goal. The announcers didn't even acknowledge, like it was Brett Hull.

Weird that when the puck got stuck to the outside of the net, the faceoff came outside the blue line. I don't understand why that is the rule.
If the offensive team was last to touch puck before it gets stuck, face off moves outside the zone.
The Legion of Doom is done! Now to focus the mojo against Boston.

I dislike the Flyers even more than the Bruins. The thought of seeing those two in the conference final is sickening. At this point I can only root for NY or the Pens in the east, but will root for the west winner in the finals.

At this point I think only Chicago and Anaheim has the size and skill to beat Boston. The Rangers could do it if Lundquist steals a couple games.

Just made a pot of homemade chili, gonna sprinkle some shredded cheese on a bowl of it, and scoop it with Tostitos as I watch the Blues game.

I thought they were gonna blow it again. Going to be tough to win 2 in Chicago.

One of the goals was a shorty, and the guy who scored the OT goal was just sent down today from St Louis. A tough lesson for the young guys on playing the full 60 minutes.

It is a lot of cash to payout to get rid of Leino. Maybe it would be better to keep him as the Tank Commander for another year. It's hard to find players that are guaranteed to not score.
