Putting a team in Binghamton made too much sense. 😒

Fair statement. Of course, there's more than an abundance of video and audio evidence in the public forum to state as fact that some are in point of fact, grooming kids in this particular subject. So, my body, my choice, I agree with that, also, my children, my choice, I agree with that to.
Nobody is grooming kids to be gay, especially at a hockey game. 🙄 They’re either gay or they’re not. The issue is do we support them to feel safe and accepted.

Well it’s just very disconcerting how overtly polarized everything has become and how everything must be everyone’s business at all times.
There wouldn’t be a need for a Pride night if people minded their own business and stopped treating them differently or accusing them of grooming kids.

Well, @pastajoe and @Flashsabre it's a simple thing to give me a red X, but why? What's the disagreement?
“Virtue-signaling” is a derogatory term that implies a lack of sincerity in promoting or supporting a cause.

They are still selling all that stuff, and promoting special causes, just not wearing jerseys during warm-up.
Part of the attraction for paying so much for the jerseys is knowing it was worn on ice by the players, not to mention the positive exposure it gives to the causes.

Haven't seen the report personally, but according to wifey, the NHL won't have any specialty warmup sweaters this coming season. If correct, guess they decided the controversies over them aren't worth the extra money they bring in.
Cowardly move to appease the vocal minority. So no more Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys. 🙄

Along with top 4 D and veteran goalie, a 4th line center who can win faceoffs and kill penalties. An upgrade from Jost.
-
Enough with the retreads. Bringing back Okposo was bad enough, now we’re stuck with two slow 4th liners for another year. The top teams have effective 4th lines that can intimidate with speed and physicality. Another wasted opportunity to upgrade.

I missed the boat.
Not too sure how they were doing financially in Winnipeg but this is their third move in less than 5 years.
It can’t help having to compete with an NHL and AHL team in the same small city which has approximately the same metro population as Buffalo.
-
The best option would be to swap with Columbus so they have AHL Cleveland and Cincinnati, and Buffalo gets the Kalamazoo Wings. They could have an alternate jersey with chicken wings. Even better would be a new team in Binghamton who currently has an FPHL team.

Please promote Peca
I assume that Peca is the heir apparent to take over the Amerks when Appert gets promoted.

Just like everyone else, but when you're in the vast minority you may want to consider that other peoples opinions.
A few people on a chat site are hardly the vast majority of Sabres fans. I considered and find them overly optimistic. I look at the entirety of his career and the fact he’s never been able to drive a line or hold onto a center position. If some other team overvalues him then it’s time to move him before he asks for a big contract and acquire defensive talent..

Seems like pretty much everyone else disagrees with you.
I don’t base my opinions on polls, I base it on my observations. He’s yet to prove he can be consistent. I’m not willing to wait and find out. But it’s not our decision to make.

Not a chance, he's turned into a solid Sabre - he stays, no question. They can pick up a defenceman a different way.
He had half a good season, helped by playing with their top wingers when Tage was hurt. He’s never been able to secure a center spot. That’s hardly a solid record.

IDK - I thought he was showing a more "sturdy" game towards the end. He may not become the next Zdeno Chara, but he has more tenacity then I expected.
That’s because he was playing with Tuch and Skinner who could make any center look good. But when not he has trouble centering other wingers.

They have a lot of potentially good players in the pipeline. Mitts is a good player, and good at a lot of things, right now.
Sorry, I don’t trust him to be consistent. He cant hold down a position at center and gets knocked off the puck too often on the wings. I trade him while he still has value.

Yes, he does have value to his team. That's an argument to keep him, not trade him. He has proven to be a versatile player who can play on the wing and center. He also has shown that he has the talent to move up to the top line and keep it playing at an exceptional level. Why would you want to deal this player that you developed and are now getting good production from?
Because they have plenty of offensive talent in the pipeline, but are lacking a top 4 D to pair with Power. He’s been inconsistent over his career and there’s no guarantee he won’t revert again. So strike while his stock is high, and solidify the D. We saw how they struggled when Samuelsson was injured.
-
I’m still hoping they use Mitts in a trade to acquire a top 4 D if they don’t get a UFA. Move him while he still has value.

Terrible that they couldn’t get one home win in three tries to reward the large crowds.
-
I’ll admit I didn’t think they had it in them but I was wrong. Even if they lose the series, I hope they at least give the home fans one last win to reward their support.

I’m guessing that if Prow is not back they’ll give Johnson his first game.
-
Like I said after the last game, this series is over. Last year it was Laval’s speed, this year it’s Hershey’s size and physicality. It was a nice run.

Down 2-1, the series is over already? Wow.
After game 1 Hershey adjusted their game and have shut down the Amerks offense. And their goalie is now dialed in.

They could influence investors through promises of supporting a team with some prospects and promotion to petition the league for a team. But it’s a moot point now.
