  1. For me it’s not just what the law says. Criminals will ignore it so essentially it would impact law abiding citizens. Even then some would choose to become criminals rather than obey something they perceive as infringement on 2A. I just think at the state level a person’s voice would be louder than it is in DC. For criminals the black market prices would go up but won’t deter violent acts. We see it in Europe and in Boston that you don’t need a gun if you are a determined psycho. Therefore, why should a good person, trained in firearms be subjected to more restrictions when the people those restrictions are meant to deter will simply ignore them. We already have laws against murder. Don’t make more laws impacting good people’s ability to defend themselves. Im not disagreeing on the interstate issue or the corruption of the industry. Just putting my point of view out there.
  2. In light of the VA Beach shooting the issue of gun control is back in the lime light. Well, sort of. It seems like it’s not being talked about as much as it was after the Parkland shooting. Or maybe I’m not watching TV enough. I agree there are some people who should not have a firearm be it mental instability or history of violent crimes. What I don’t agree with is more federal laws. Instead I think it should be on the states individually to enforce/enact whatever laws they see fit. What works for the residence of Texas may not be the same as New York.
  3. Haha Richard Noggin.
  4. Trump Train. Specifically I like how he is at least trying something different with NOKO. It may not work but if you send young guys to fight it should be the last resort. He openly stated he doesn’t want regime change in Iran which I also like because nation building sucks. He seems to really support Israel too. I get they have political issues in their own country but their people live in the lion’s den and historically dealt with a lot of hardships. They are fighters and resilient which I respect. I think the Republicans will continue backing him so long as the Russia thing can be spun. Right now the message is no wrong doing on his part but massive corruption in the DoJ and intel community. If that well dries up I see them jumping ship. Honestly I can’t support any party as a whole. The joker said it best in the Dark Knight when speaking to Harvey Dent. Best example I could think of. However I do not like the tariffs. I think they are a waste of time. That said I myself don’t have a solution so it probably makes me sound like a whiner.
  5. If we were to get an experienced 2C to pair Sam with I might just cry. Eichel/Skinner and Sam/2C. It’s like a Katy Perry teenage dream.
  6. MSM doesn’t do any favors to politicians on either side. They hammer topics with speculation for ratings and to fill that 24 hour news cycle. People get twisted up by the Hannity and Cuomos out there so politicians have to react accordingly. Occasionally they do their job like with the Boeing issue. They seem to only bring it up when there is new information and then tie it together with what they reported previously. FWIW I watch more CNN than Fox and I’m still on the Trump Train.
  7. To the bold. They have no product other than overly affectionate Biden. Oh yeah, ICE is bad.
  8. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wsj.com/amp/articles/white-house-wanted-uss-john-mccain-out-of-sight-during-trump-japan-visit-11559173470 I think this is the article you are referring to.
  9. None. Same reason as I doubt a Dem leadership backed impeachment. It sets a potential precedent and Dem leadership probably fear it will hurt them like Republicans and Bill Clinton. Take my thoughts with a grain of salt. I don’t think Trump is an anomaly when it comes to questionable activities. We are on a downhill and I think past the point of a u turn.
  10. Sounds like the end of Mueller’s work. I hope the AG declassifies as much as possible. Congress might as well pursue whatever investigations. Let’s get this over with.
  11. https://www.dvidshub.net/news/53829/marines-remember-fallen-cobra-pilots-afghanistan They were in support of another platoon’s mission when we took fire. They pulled off to help us. Multiple fire fights that day as two platoons moved to secure the crash site. We took fire from a couple hundred meters to the north of PB Meinert. Their Cobra was hit by RPG fire to the south of us. I do think those RPGs were meant for us in a coordinated attack. They gave their lives to support a squad they never met but knew as all Marines do.
  12. Talking down to people online is a hell of a trait.
  13. Went back through my posts. Couldn’t find where i mention illuminati. SMH.
  14. From what I understand she said she is stepping down because of her inability to see the U.K. through BREXIT. She’s had this issue for a little while so I find the timing interesting.
  15. Because the FVEY countries have already stated they do not want documents related to the investigation to be declassified. Now that it appears this will happen there is a chance some things that implicate her and her government will come to light.
  16. I guess we play the waiting game in declassifying FISA docs. I wonder if May’s exit is just a coincidence. Then again this was teased s while back. Edit: Watching CNN and people are freaking out about this. I mean they are getting pretty worked up just by speculating what information is getting released.
  17. Yeah I can understand the cost issue but it has been a long time.
  18. Coolest part to me is the timeline is in the near future. Imagine some HD vids of people walking in the moon. No way they will fake this one. J/k?
  19. I’d imagine it would be an international effort. The U.S. would probably pick up a good chunk of the cost. I wouldn’t mind using military budget money. I think it would be appropriate. Once a base is established the partnering nations should split the cost evenly. Could be a good opportunity for us, China and Russia to focus on more productive things.
  20. Good news. NASA has plans to go back to the moon. I am extremely happy for two reasons. 1. This is real human progress. Even though we have already been to the moon this is in support of future human bases. Hopefully for future Mars missions. 2. Finally, interesting news other than what politician said/did. https://www.foxnews.com/science/secret-nasa-plans-for-moon-base-and-37-rocket-launches-revealed
  21. I’m colorblind so everything seems good. ?
  22. The news is saying we have images of Iranian freighters carrying missiles. Meh. Not sure I’d cancel a trip to Europe to go to Iraq but ok. Same news talking about how Iran could destabilize Afghanistan. ? I guess GIRoA, Taliban, Haqqani Network, and Al Queda/ISIS will just share the land, opium, money, and power.
  23. Just wait. Might not be anything but a show of force in order to keep the Straight of Hormuz open or protect tankers in open waters. No point getting spun up just yet.
