If you're referring to hitting a QB below the knees, that's a result of the hit Carson Palmer took in the playoffs against the Steelers after the 2005 season (the Bengals were my pick to go all the way that year, too).
-
Hard to say with such a limited sample size, but he does have impressive stats. His 'Total QBR' was above every QB except Watson. He was 6th in the NFL with a clean pocket passer rating. His PFF passing grade was also 6th best at 85.9. 28.8 points per game, 8.8 yards per attempt. 35.2 percent of his attempts were positively graded by PFF, highest of any QB in the NFL. His intermediate accuracy was 63.2%, with 10.8 yards per attempt. He completed 62.3% under duress, the highest PFF has seen for any QB since 2014. He had the 6th lowest sack rate under pressure, 12.9%. Hell, his number one receiver was Marquise freakin' Goodwin (who had nearly as many receiving yards as our top two, McCoy and Clay, combined)!

Jimmy Garoppolo has the longest winning streak to start his career (7-0) since Big Ben (15-0) (who would likely be 16-0 except he didn't play in that game against Buffalo that we shall avoid talking about).
-
They were 1-9. Still, he has been very impressive in his limited action.
-
Perhaps Kraft told him he would be Belichick's successor if he stayed with the team.
-
Not this year, and I think a couple other NFC teams could beat them, too. That said, they are far and away the best team of the last two decades and perhaps the best dynasty in the history of football. I live in New England, and for what it's worth, I didn't hear anyone at work complain about officiating, not even the one guy who lost a $500 bet.
-
It still surprises me that the Redskins traded away so much for RGIII and still drafted Cousins that same year. They lucked out on that one after what happened to RGIII's career.
-
You'd put Bradford above Brees, Garoppolo, and Cousins? Or do you mean 3 realistic UFAs (which would likely knock Brees and Garoppolo out)?
-
Because we can't have a scoop and score against the Patriots. That would make it a lot harder to make Eleven's link upthread work.

Refs claim they don't want to decide games and that's why there's fewer penalties, yet since I tuned in 15 minutes ago, there have been 4 penalties, all on Jacksonville. The DPI was particularly absurd, since the ball was not by any stretch of the imagination catchable.

I don't know how you can compare any fans unfavorably to Philadelphia fans. Have you ever been to a game, any sport, in Philly?! Keenum is actually second behind only Carson Wentz in ESPN's Total QB Rating this season. Brady is 3rd. (Watson and Garoppolo would be 1 and 2, but didn't have enough starts to qualify).

I've always thought this was a joke. Do people really have problems after eating Taco Bell?
-
And one more than we have since Super Bowl XXVIII.

If there is ever a situation for Tolbert, this would be it, wouldn't it?
-
It's almost game time. Let's go, Buffalo!
-
It'll be 22 regardless of what happens. The Bills will get 21 if they lose because of their worse record. The Jags will get 21 if they lose because of an easier schedule. The Falcons are the only other 10 win team playing this weekend, and they had a harder schedule than the Chiefs.

In case anyone missed this little gem, here is what PFF had to say: 1. Tre’Davious White, CB, Buffalo BillsPFF Grade: 91.6 PFF Elite Stat: White allowed a catch just once per every 15.8 snaps he spent in coverage this season, the 10th-best rate among corners. White stepped in right from Day 1 and showed that he didn’t just belong in this league, but he was ready to dominate it. White has held a top-three spot on this list for all 17 updates, and after claiming the top spot after Week 14, he never looked back. The former LSU star finishes the year ranked third among all cornerbacks with his elite overall grade, and he was as reliable a corner as there was all season. He led all corners with 1,093 defensive snaps played, and he finished 13 games with a grade of at least 70.0. Opposing quarterbacks had just a 68.2 passer rating when targeting White in coverage, and he was directly responsible for an incompletion (whether it be via pass breakup, interception or proximity in coverage) on 23.4 percent of the targets into his coverage, well over the league average of 15.0 percent. The Bills are in the playoffs for the first time this century and the play of PFF’s rookie of the year is a big reason why.

Cool. Misunderstood. That's exactly how I feel. If other people are even more excited than I am, I am genuinely happy for them.
-
And so you roll your eyes at other people's excitement?
-
I'm old enough to remember playoffs, and I roll my eyes at anyone who would roll their eyes at the fans being excited.

CFP (College Football playoff) Who wins today and overall?
JujuFish replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
If that one-win team won Alabama's division, they should absolutely be considered over Alabama. -

I don't know. I just picked them because they're the most relevant argument regarding Alabama, since they beat Alabama and represented the SEC West in the conference championship. They performed better where it mattered. I'm not so much saying that Auburn should be in, rather that Auburn is more deserving than Alabama as can be directly compared. -

Hardly. I'm a fan of the Gamecocks. Alabama does not deserve to be in. Simple as that. So we should retroactively award the 2008 Super Bowl to the Patriots. You know, because they were a better team than the Giants "if you look at the entire season". -

How about the team that actually won their division and beat them head-to-head, Auburn? And that's a bad thing...why? -

Alabama should not have been in the playoffs. I don't care if they're good enough, if they weren't good enough to even play in their conference championship then they don't deserve it.
