  1. Awesome drive!
  2. Step one: beat Murray by at least 114 points.
  3. Going into the final week, it appears we have 4 teams are vying for the final playoff spot: (8-5, 1447.8) MurraysRats, who currently holds #4 by record (7-6, 1641.3) Dirty Mike/Thorny, maintaining a stranglehold on any potential tiebreaker as the #1 scoring team in the league (7-6, 1513.7) pi2000, with a likely tiebreaker edge over Murray and True (7-6, 1333.9) Witty Names/TrueBlueGED, who needs a miracle of miracles to make it in
  4. Don't mind me. Just popping in to mention that thumbs up, not thumbs down, was used to show disagreement in ancient Rome.
  5. It's very frustrating seeing a 3rd and 7 and Taylor throws it 3 yards past the line of scrimmage.
  6. How is that not intentional grounding?
  7. What the flying was that, Taylor?!
  8. Obviously people hold that opinion, I just don't understand how anyone holds it, given the facts. It's one thing to say "at least with Tyrod, there was a chance to win". It's entirely different to say they win with Tyrod. I'd say they had a 10% chance of winning with Tyrod, given how pathetic the defense was. That's still better than the 0% chance with Peterman, but a far, far cry from "The Bills win that game with Taylor".
  9. I can honestly say I don't know how anyone can hold that opinion.
  10. They gained 279 yards on offense in the first half alone. After our TD and two punts of the first half (AKA the non-turnover Peterman drives), they followed it up with drives totaling 182 yards and scored on all 3 drives. Also, going back to this point since I forgot to address it, that's very arguable right now. The Chiefs are on a 1-5 slump with their only win coming against a bad Broncos team. The Chargers, on the other hand, have won 6 of 8, with their only two losses, both by 1 score, coming to the Patriots and Jags, the #1 and #3 teams in the AFC, and their loss before that was a 2-point loss to the Eagles, the #1 team in the entire NFL.
  11. The Bills couldn't stop the Chargers on defense, period. The Chargers' starting offense punted once. 24 points came off Peterman turnovers, and the Chargers were up by 30 when their starting offense sat and 37 when their defense took a rest. If you don't see that, you're the blind one here.
  12. Patriots and Steelers are obvious locks. Jags are too, IMO. The Chargers have been the best team in the West and I can see them taking it if they win their game against the Chiefs later on. If that happens, we're down to Ravens, Titans, and Chiefs as competition. We hold head-to-head against the Chiefs, obviously, so a Chargers loss + 1 more puts them down to 9-7 and behind us. The Ravens will have a hard time with the Lions and Steelers, and division games are never a given, so add the Bengals and even perhaps the Browns to that list (though they crushed both of those teams to start the season). I think the Titans get the first wild card spot, but they have to deal with the Rams and Jags still, though those losses would only bring them down to 10-6. Anyway, what I'm saying is I can see them making it at 9-7 over the Ravens and Chiefs if the Chargers win the West. You're assuming they wouldn't have scored points regardless. And they began sitting starters in the THIRD QUARTER.
  13. With how bad the defense was, starting Taylor wouldn't have made a difference.
  14. So now if we beat a bad Dolphins team twice and a bad Colts team once, we're 9-7 with a pretty damn good shot at playoffs.
  15. Oh yeah, that one felt very good. I don't even feel bad about starting Alex Smith in the Sabrespace league.
  16. Except the team actually has a fullback. The 4th highest paid fullback in the NFL, at that.
  17. Sure is nice when the sieve belongs to the opponent's o-line instead of ours.
  18. It is pretty shocking to look good in the first quarter. This is Tyrod's first game of the season with a 1st quarter TD.
  19. Wow, a 1st quarter TD!
  20. You and I both.
  21. That's what I did. I just kept forgetting to pick a team before Thursday (stupid that it doesn't let you pick after the Thursday game).
  22. Um, you're thinking of the third one.
  23. Peterman is only the second QB since the 1930s to throw 5 picks on fewer than 15 attempts. Archie Manning did it in 1973, in a 62-7 loss.
  24. Not me. I'll take "me too" any day over the popularity contest that is likes.
  25. I despise liking posts. One of the worst fads in social media, IMO.
