Not to pile on, but Buffalo only went 2-5 against teams above .500. But that doesn't matter. They're in the playoffs and anything can happen. In fact, I think they have a decent chance to upset the Jags, despite being big underdogs. Bortles strikes me as someone who will turn the ball over a few times in his first playoff experience. I'm more worried about Fournette than anyone else, given how bad our rushing defense has been.

With how bad our offensive line is (Football Outsiders has it ranked at 28th in run and 30th in pass), I feel like Tyrod is a top 5 QB given the situation. He needs his magical legs just to make plays even happen.
-
Not just that, they are the only two coaches to get us to 9-7 during the drought. Slight point of clarification, though: Mularkey hit 9-7 in his first season. He bailed the next year following a 5-11 season. We can thank the Browns somewhat. If they were 8-8, the Ravens would have won the strength of victory tiebreaker and we'd be sitting on the outside. Thanks for sucking, Browns, I guess?

YES!!! THE DROUGHT IS OVER!!! WE WON'T HAVE PEOPLE VOTING IN THE MIDTERMS WHO WEREN'T EVEN ALIVE THE LAST TIME BUFFALO MADE THE PLAYOFFS!
-
The Bills did their part. Come on, Cincy!!!

Cincinnati is making me nervous. Hold out, Bengals! Please!
-
It makes me really happy that they did that for Kyle. He deserves better than he's gotten as a career Bill.
-
Baltimore TD just before the half. Cincinnati up 17-10.

To this day, if someone says "it's x o'clock" I'll sometimes respond, "do you know where your children are?" People around here just give me weird looks, though. RIP, Irv.

Key to winning without great WRs in a PPR league: draft the #1 and #2 RBs in the entire league. I lucked into that exact situation for the second year in a row (Gurley + Bell this year, Johnson + Bell last year).
-
Wow, that was a lot closer than I was expecting going into the Eagles-Raiders match. Good game, Ink.

In my head, the head-to-head tiebreaker used common games before conference record (maybe because that's logical). It apparently does not, unless you're breaking a tie within the division.
-
I'm refining this to we need either a Ravens loss or a Chargers loss. We win a head-to-head tiebreaker with the Titans because of common games.
-
The Ravens need to lose, or both the Titans and Chargers need to lose, I believe. If the Titans lose, we could win and end up with a head-to-head tie with the Chargers. If the Ravens lose, we'll win a 2-, 3-, or 4-way tie for the 6th seed. I think.

How the actual ? Seriously, how in the actual ?
-
Oh yeah!

OK, Bills, give us all an amazing Christmas gift and upset the Patriots, please.
-
I don't know why. I think all of my bad luck in my other two leagues get balanced by good luck in this league.

The last time the Bills made the playoffs, we went to New England and won in week 16. Regarding UFA QBs, what about Garoppolo? He has been good for the 49ers, and how funny would it be for that decision to trade him to come back and haunt the Patriots?
-
If the Titans beat the Jags, who won't have anything to play for if Buffalo loses to New England and they beat the 49ers this week, and the Ravens win both of their games (against two of the worst teams in the conference), Buffalo will miss the playoffs at 9-7. IMO, this is the most likely scenario.
-
The Bills would win a head-to-head tie with the Ravens where both teams are 9-7. (1) They haven't played each other (2) They would have the same conference record (3) They would be equal in common games (4-1), (4) The Bills would easily have a better strength of victory. That 2nd round pick became Kiko, who got traded for McCoy.
-
Dude, you just can't plan for 85 points from 2 players. That was insane. I would take away the victory if it meant Antonio Brown dropped 10 TDs on the Patriots though. :(

I lost to True in the first year, which is why he is my nemesis. *shakes fist at True*

The Bills don't control their own destiny yet, sadly. If Baltimore wins next week, they'll jump us even if we beat the Cheatriots.
