  1. Halfway through. Man, this is a wild ride
  2.
  3. Well I can tell this thread is gonna be a lot of fun
  4. Alrighty then
  5. Many people get fired for having an affair. It can be consensual and unprofessional. The point is, nobody here knows what happened
  6. Think the Sabres do a date auction if you're that interested
  7. I mean to be fair we're not all in here victim blaming. That's a big umbrella to place us all under
  8. Is it harassing or was he having inappropriate relations? Not condoning either of course
  9. Absolutely ridiculous setup by Guentzel to Crosby
  10. What players are you referring to here?
  11. He was the president for what, a decade? And a GM, and the the president of two teams. In the draft room all the time...the guy had a lot of influence.
  12. Still say he was a puppet master with his hand in too many cookie jars.
  13. https://www.tsn.ca/off-season-game-plan-buffalo-sabres-1.1073301 They have us adding Fabbri and Sheary, and trading RoR. Where RoR is traded to and for what, I don't know Edit: Apparently to St.Louis for Fabbri, Kostin, and Hutton. That is an absolutely absurd deal for them to predict. We get shafted so hard in that
  14. Ottawa confirms Bouchard and the rest of the coaching staff will be back for next season
  15. Alright having a big debate with my buddy. Is it better/worse to invert your defensemen? I.e. if they are a right handed shot, play them as a LHD, and vice-versa. The idea is so they can come up in the offensive zone and cut in to shoot left. Full disclosure, I think it's the dumbest idea. Yeah you can now cut in and shoot, and you can 1-time it. THAT'S IT. Playing catch in the d-zone with your partner? Way harder. Moving the puck up ice? Way harder. Pinching the puck? WAY HARDER.
  16. Pretty all over the place in the poll so far. Didn't expect that. Looks like none of us can agree on what to expect
  17. Pretty sure Cal O'Reilly broke Nylander. Just move him at this point
  18. Jack - RoR/Mittelstatd - Dahlin?
  19. According to Mayfield's agent, the Pats were debating trading up to #2 for him http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/23374606/agent-says-new-england-patriots-discussed-trading-draft-baker-mayfield
  20. Risto's production is much better than Carlson's was at this point in his career. On garbage teams too
  21. He was awful this series, true. But he still has 7pts in 13 playoff games. I still think Babcock loves him though. He likely gets his contract this summer, and it's likely more than McDavid > Matthews > Eichel in terms of money. Which is alright with me, because as soon as they have to lock that number up in the cap, the better for us The NHL won't even let another team into Canada though ( Toronto and Montreal, they should both have 2 teams), so not sure they care about the Canadian market we draw. I think they see Pittsburgh as being a Chicago/Detroit/Boston American market they can get new fans into with
  22. Good point. I added it, although I really hope you're wrong about it. I think the worst thing Phil could do would be to take it that slow with this kid. Throw him in IMO
  23. Maybe. I could just be seeing Pittsburgh through a lense of a city as a whole, and not specifically a hockey market. As a hockey market you're probably correct, though I would imagine the NHL prefers Pittsburgh solely because of the history and potential to be such a larger market
  24. Erik Karlsson had 5-5-10 in 45gp for Frolunda HC in the SHL during his first full year in the SHL his draft year Victor Hedman had 7-14-21 in 43gp for MODO in the SHL during his first full year in the SHL his draft year Rasmus Dahlin had 7-13-20 in 41gp for Frolunda HC in the SHL during his draft year. Karlsson's first 3 NHL seasons: 5-21-26pts in 60gp 13-32-45pts in 75gp 19-59-78pts in 81gp Hedman's first 3 NHL seasons: 4-16-20pts in 74gp 3-23-26pts in 79gp 5-18-23pts in 61gp Hedman really didn't break out until his 5th season, posting 13-42-55pts in 75gp Another comparison Dahlin has drawn is Drew Doughty. Doughty's first 3 NHL seasons: 11-29-40pts in 76gp 10-26-36pts in 77gp 6-16-22pts in 48gp (lockout) Honestly I'm expecting a Karlsson-like trajectory. First 2 seasons with good production, 3rd season becomes an All Star
