  1. Right. Lawrence will be coming out potentially in the same offseason Brady retires, so the Patriots won’t be anywhere near the number one pick.
  2. Gilbert is a good man as far as my dealings with him have went. Can’t speak for anything beyond that. His son is a prospect in the Blackhawks system.
  3. Sure. I’m not sure what that has to do with any of this.
  4. I really hope Botterill isn’t stuck in this ancient mindset. Successful teams just don’t do this stuff anymore.
  5. Rodgers’ ego is every bit as big as Baker’s from the sounds of it. Rodgers has earned it to this point in his career. As has Mayfield. I don’t think McCarthy is the right choice for Cleveland, though. Nor does Arians going to Tampa Bay mean at all that McCarthy to Cleveland is likely or even likelier than it was before. Probably. But Lamar’s performance doesn’t have any impact on Josh Allen. Only Josh Allen’s play will do that.
  6. That’s not how any of this works
  7. While these awards aren’t fully supportive of this the notion that Edmunds was “pretty lost” and might get moved to the outside because of it is wild. He was very good to end the year. He was absolutely lost to start it but if you tuned in for all 16 games his growth was obvious and he finished the year on a very high note.
  8. If Botterill sits on his hands and watches the team with one viable NHL line fade out of the playoffs I’ll lose a good chunk of respect for his work.
  9. In last year’s first round four teams traded up to draft QBs. Five teams traded up to draft non-QBs.
  10. You read wrong on the WR front
  11. Rewatching Doctor Who. It really is a joy.
  12. The Bills pick ninth or tenth depending on a coin flip. It's based on record and tie-breakers are based on whoever has the WEAKER strength of schedule. The Broncos and Bills opponents have the exact same record once a winner is decided in tonight's game (that will add a win and a loss to the Bills opponents' records).
  13. Everyone wants to blame millennials. It’s the cutest thing Boomers do.
  14. Toronto had like seven jerseys for their anniversary season recently.
  15. I can get with this. It’s not too far out there creative wise but different enough to get me interested. I love the B logo but also loved the alternate logo they made for that game.
  16. I am firmly for going back to royal. I am firmly against going back to the originals. They’re plain and have zero level of originality or creativity to them. They’re beautiful, but they’re just a version of what everyone else in hockey wears. Come up with something unique. And come up with something different than block numbers. Those jerseys were great. That logo is terrible. That number font should’ve become an identity for this team.
  17. The only time I ever asked for a raise I walked in and asked for a 15% raise because I was dumb when I accepted the first offer so after about a year and a half of hard work I showed them I was worth it. My boss laughed and pushed a piece of paper across the table at that moment that said I was getting a 15% raise. Luckiest moment of my career lol. I’m currently deep in conversations with what will hopefully be my next employer. I have no issues asking for more money after talking to over a dozen hiring managers in my industry and seeing how it works. What Tondas said about it being a starting point is definitely the case here and I imagine in most if not all industries. I imagine the only places that’ll give you at or near the final offer initially are places that are trying to poach you and not places that you are pursuing yourself.
  18. Lotulelei fell out of favor before they even got to week one if I remember the snap counts correctly. That’s looking like a BRUTAL emotional pickup.
  19. I never trust Jeremy White. His dumb secret source stuff has come up lame on several occasions.
  20. No, I have muted him before and that’s something I NEVER do otherwise.
  21. There is a difference. Good thing I never reference color (nor did Eleven). So not really sure what this is about. I’ve never heard Hamilton do color. I also like this way of handling something. I make a comment. Eleven gets fussy over a word that he didn’t know and calls me out with a personal remark. I respond telling him the original context was correct and post a link proving as much. You give ME snark for the whole thing. This place is a nightmare at times.
  22. Just because you associate "commentary" and "commentator" with color guys doesn't mean it's right. Commentary is absolutely applicable to play-by-play. https://espnmediazone.com/us/bios/mcdonough_sean/ Sean McDonough, who works for ESPN, has "Play-by-Play Commentator" as his official job title and I found that simply by searching the very first play-by-play guy for ESPN I could think of. Go ahead. Die on the hill and take personal swings when you're out of bounds.
  23. BN reported it. He MAY have passed out but unclear to this point.
