The only team worse than the Sabres right now are the Florida Panthers - but we are in the basement of the NHL - 29th out of 30 teams.

Fair enough - that's a good point - then give the new GM/Coach a chance to evaluate and start axing out the deadwood quickly while there's still time.

What's amazing is that, even giving up a softie, Miller still kept em in that game. Sabres only made 20 total shots in that entire game.

Horrible game by the Sabres...... Pegula should just GRENADE this team at the end of the season, fire about 75% of the roster, can Regier who should have been gone as soon as he bought the team, and start fresh. Fresh management, fresh coach, fresh team. This is a soft team that plays soft, thinks soft, acts soft, executes soft.... soft to the core. and they're lazy and lack fundamental skills like passing, skating, puck control, etc.

Geez, 27 seconds and the puck is IN Buffalo's zone..... so many problems with this team in terms of execution, basic skills, etc etc etc

The refs find any reason not to penalize Philly, don't they? Hartnoll gets away with smashing Hogsdon in the mouth with the stick because he was shooting.

Beautiful job by Ott and Hecht. Still only a 1 goal game despite the huge shot disparity. Flyers don't ever seem to put much emphasis on their goalie (remember the revolving goalies a few years ago?)

These refs stink at best, and are in the bag for Philly at worst, and the players obviously recognize that from all the comments directed at the officials.
