Terrified of this game. The Seahawks barely beat the Browns, who have the talent to blow out the Ravens. They ran all over the Pats defense and only lost because they beat themselves in a way that I'd be skeptical of them replicating tomorrow. Garrett against Ford/Nsekhe is going to be a disaster, and Chubb versus our interior run defense gives me nightmares.
At the same time, they have enough coaching, penalty, and offensive line issues that we certainly have a path to victory. They are 2-6, after all.It would be such a huge win. Let's go Bills.
We could lose basically any game because of our limited offense, but nothing about the Browns is terrifying. They look as dysfunctional as the worst Bills teams of the drought.

I'll be surprised if Buffalo wins. They aren't favored for a reason.
-2.5 on the road isn't exactly an underdog line.

Sobotka for McDavid.

JT Miller was a guy I wanted Botts to target last summer but I was happy the Sabres didn’t pay the Canucks price.
But boy, oh boy does he look exactly like what the Sabres need in their top 6. Big, physical, defensively responsible and putting up points.
I must have mentioned JT Miller about 3000 times this summer and was regularly shot down. Feather in my cap, baby!

I will. Against teams we shouldn't have annihilated by 30. Beat the Cowboys, Patriots, Steelers or Ravens. Hell, I might even get excited to beat the Browns. At least people thought they'd be good.
Steelers and Browns? 8 games into the season, no reason to still be thinking about preseason expectations. Both of those teams are bad and the games are winnable.

This team has benefitted from playing arguably the second worst schedule in NFL history. (See Patriots 2019) Can't get 1 yard when they need to, can't stop the run, turn the ball over at key moments, bad special teams, mediocre pass rush, no WR that makes anything other than pedestrian catches. I don't have much hope.
The schedule isn't getting any harder. By the Football Outsiders metrics, it actually gets easier, and they're on track to finish with the easiest schedule in the league in like two decades or something ridiculous. My argument isn't that the team is good, it's that it can fairly easily make the playoffs without being good.

I'm still not sold on them making the playoffs. If they play like they did today, they may not win another.
Cleveland, Miami, Pittsburgh, Denver, and the Jets. They're all a mess. And it's not like Baltimore and Dallas are world beaters.

It's really hard for me to believe that this team is as good as its record.
It's not. But stolen from Twitter: it's better to be a bad 6-2 team than a good 2-6 team. We're making the playoffs and hopefully add more offensive talent in the offseason.

Thank you for not running out of the jumbo package. And what do ya know? Score.
1 minute ago, SDS said:Yes. Absolutely his fault. ?
You quoted yards per carry for each back which were heavily influenced by game situation.
Yes. And the offense is clearly more effective with Singletary. Today, at least. It's not like Gore has had only short yardage carries. Why are you arguing semantics when you know well what my point was?

You’re better than that. You know very well Gore has been put in multiple short yardage situations today where Singletary hasn’t.
He's also had normal situation carries he's done zilch with.ong of 6 yards today. Are you honestly going to try to argue Gore has been effective this game? There have been games this year he's played really well, but today isn't one of them. It's okay to bench the vet when warranted.
-
Singletary is average 5.3 yards per carry, Gore 1.8. So yes, let's keep running Gore today.

This actually is a joke. We should of blown this team out by now. No excuses. It’s a one score game going into the 4th. ??
Our offense is just bad. Our schedule is a joke and we're making the playoffs, but we still need like 5 starters on offense.

Love going for it. Hate going to the jumbo package RB dive. Was 0-3 on the goal line not enough? Bleh.

When I see RB continually gash this team on the ground and in the air but still cannot point at the MLB as faulty. Sorry, someone needs to convince me Edmunds is not a problem.
He's been a liability in run defense because he can't get off a block. Of course, neither can anyone else. And in today's NFL, having a fast defense that's great against the pass and had against the run is a good choice.

I mean it only took our OC 3 months to figure it out.
On a ***** note, this team cannot stop the run.
And we're going to get out of the half allowing 6 points. Run defense just isn't that important.

I would of run until they stopped it. Going 6 yards a play.

Yes. A bad one.

How did it work out for us? Run the ball there!
Is this 1965? Throwing the ball is fine. Need the QB to throw it away when it's not there instead of losing yardage.

That may have been among the worst red zone possessions I've ever seen ?

Perfect first drive.

At a Bills Backers bar. Someone here is clapping so hard and so often that the only reasonable conclusion I can come to is McDermott is his idol.
