I don't miss watching Tyler Myers fall like a big oak tree for no apparent reason. Guy routinely just fell over.If he or Ristolainen can move to the left side they will be our top pairing this year. If we can find a stud left defenseman I think Bogosian would be even better on the 2nd pairing once Ristolainen is ready to assume the role of #1 defenseman. He gets injured a lot but so does Myers and at least Bogosian has a reason for his injuries due to his consistent physical play.

Trepidation is a huge bonus word in scrabble. Now you are confusing me :P
damn it you made me google trepidation :D
He does bring size, would man the point on our PP. But im afraid his skating is just to bad.

God knows we have needed scoring in that area.5th in power play scoring for defensemen since 2010.

When Bucky spends 1.8 Billion between the two teams, he can sit in the meetings as well. She can do what she wants. Her, and Terry have made a huge commitment to the city, and both teams. I am sure they are both smart enough to know their lanes. That's just spreading FUD.
Unless he can quantify what is actually happening, then that's a BS statement to throw out there.

I know no one is interested in talking hockey right now, but I would really like to see what Sabrespacers expectations are for Kane.
I think he will keep his nose clean and play good hockey, might even lead the team in scoring, but won't be "dominant" enough to make fans fall in love with him. What we've seen is what we'll get.
That why I picked option two.
I certainly am. TBDs posters are disillusioned, tired of talking why Taylor , should start over EJ or vice versa. OH, went option 1....

We need guys at Center that can win face offs in all situations. Girgensons, May be the exception. I think he, and Ennis are better at wing. I think Larsson would be better off at 3rd line C, or wing.Reinhart, the #2 overall pick and first forward selected last year will probably be in the mix over the long haul. Look around for roster threads, but Ennis has been playing well on RW, and Larrsson played well in a small set of games. Girgensons may end up on the wing too. So centers long term should shake out as some combination of Eichel, Reinhart, O'Reilly, with some tough SOB on the 4th line that's essentially "interchangable" year to year. If the Sabres have enough good centers that they're playing a talented center on the 4th line, they should be trading one for something else the team needs (right now, RW and maybe D).

Plenty of officers do security-type jobs off hours.
By all accounts, whatever happened was after the cop left, so he didn't witness a crime.
As long as he tells the truth when questioned as to what led up to the possible crime, I don't see a problem.
I don't think there's anything to see here. TBN reporting on nothing. I guess it's better than the Croce article.
Plus the cop has carry, and arrest authority if things get out of hand.

Love Dominicans, I was there for a month last year for work. Great cigar bars, selling hand rolled everywhere. Stateside, Nat Sherman timeless is what I smoke.Very similar....although I go for the 4 1/2 - 5 range. (we're just askin for it now)....
Dominicans are the best in my opinion. You can get a $5 Dominican that is just as good as a $20 Cuban, 95% of the time. If you think Macanudo is a little bland, try their Robusto. When I used to buy boxes, I would smoke the Robusto Hyde Park, and Partagas Black as my go-to. I like a little more punch to my cigars, so that's probably why I don't mind the shorter sizes.
There are so many decent cigars out there but prices vary. I rarely smoke them anymore....but every now and then there is nothing better than going into a walk-in humidor and picking out 4 or 5 for a long weekend. The best cigar i ever smoked was an Arturo Fuente 100th anniversary that they only produced X number of. It was like the perfect woman....smooth and delicate yet strong with presence. You couldn't find them after Mike's got that small batch.

Any of Gorges, Moulson or Foligno.
Moulson for sure. This is the year to show, and prove. Big money contract for little production.
I expect nothing much from Gorges that I haven't seen already. He's a seasoned veteran filling a spot on the roster and not a part of the long term future.
Moulson is arguably in that same boat except that I think he will do well this year on one of the top two lines with talented, dynamic and imaginative linemates.
Foligno is a mystery to me. He has the tools to be an impact player but only occasionally makes an impact. Perhaps with the talent infusion MARCUS FOLIGNO WILL BE FINE, but I think he's actually the top candidate for scapegoat.
I believe big part of Marcus, and his issues as of late are due to injury. Not sure what his TOI has been while healthy, but with more minutes, I think he could make a bigger impact.
 I first read that as subtitles — which the uneducated fan might need to appreciate him.
I saw all the Ts, and Is, and immediately thought titti@# :). Although, I knew he meant subtleties.

I would be careful with this. Double check to make sure your computer can handle it. If not, and you download it anyways, it could royally ###### up your computer
Good advice. You CANNOT roll back, making sure you meet the minimum requirements is paramount. I have had Win10 since the first build release, love it. Best OS to date.

6 foot splash radius, not a good idea. I will say synergy is my new scrabble word of the week.I guess cup holders over the urinals wasn't enough to save him.

I bought a half propane/charcoal at Walmart this year. Was 200.00, good quality. Love having the option.I know there was some grill talk in another thread but I couldn't remember what one and I figured a seperate thread could be worth this discussion.
I am looking to replace an old 3 burner model. Wanted some recommendations on some good value models in the 150 to 300 dollar range or at the least things to look for in that range that add to durability

Seems he is sitting at the house trying to remember how his truck got jacked up.
-
Someone said he was on vacation "up north." No need to interrupt that to trot him out to the media. Plenty of time for that. Y'all are too hooked on the 24/7 news cycle.
what else is there to do during the offseason :)
-
Has anyone seen an interview with him since signing with the Sabres? I have not been able to find anything related.

Congrats to Kane, and the Hawks, 3 in 6 years; getting a little greedy now.......Please!
I would still be in tears this morning. After a lifetime of hoping it will be something special, indescribable really.

You just made the death list, buddy.
Thank you Freeman:)

I have been a member and avid reader of this board since 05. I was under a different name and forgot it. This, and two bills I check, and read daily. I rarely post.I know this is ironic, but we need some new posters to post in this thread and tell us.
At times members come across either harsh,or defensive, or no it all type mentality. Although, not as much as two bills. I have seen where users with thousands of posts get away with murder on these two sites, where users with fewer posts get warning points much quicker.
Just my two cents. I know this post is all over the place.
I will say that I really do enjoy the varying opinions, and discussion.

If a person won't watch hockey because facial hair on the players makes them less attractive, or look less like the kid next door, the Raiders are completely stupid then and missing out with the whole bad boy image tactic.
How about using a positive approach, post playoff beard shaving for charity. Highest bidder gets to "help" shave the beard off their favorite hockey player with all proceeds going to a charity and have the NHL push that.
That is one of the best ideas I have seen on this board. Talk about exposure.
-
You hope an asset worth something in the NHL leaves for overseas for nothing?
I saw the article and read it. It literally means nothing. Let's move on.
Not much of an asset. We have plenty of 4th line guys laying around.

They're all compound nouns composed of two separate nouns. Like game seven. Unlike attorney general.
The war of the minds has begun!!!!!!!!
I'm not a believer, but I think we could all use a good laugh.
That was awesome!!!!!!. Cured my hangover with laughter.

I hope so, seems he has a bit of a me complex.

I think it was the right move by the organization. It sounds to me that Babs wanted way too much control, or money. We are now in position to get a coach who will be the right fit. The coach, and GM must have a good relationship. We have seen how it turns out if they don't.
Go Sabres!!!!!
The Jack Eichel thread.

Tyler Ennis has never eclipsed 60, and I still love that little guy.
